- Commissioner Reagan (Tom Selleck) is constantly trying to figure out how policing must adapt in the new world, but he never imagined dealing with an officer who poses nude on the internet for extra cash. When an exceptional officer, Carlie Gilson (Sofia Vassilieva), is discovered doing just that, Frank must decide whether or not this is punishable or against NYPD policy. He seeks advice from Baker (Abigail Hawk), who is clearly on the side of Officer Gilson when she says, 'If it bothers you, don't look.

Person who runs this channel is smart. Posting one owns body online is more relevant than ever
Well thank you :) Credit to Blue Bloods for the storyline :)
There comes a level of respect with the office…if you can’t uphold that, don’t sign up. Choose a different profession.
She already was an officer.
If you can't tell the difference between a suppressed gun shot (which is still quite audible without hearing protection) and an acorn hitting your vehicle, don't sign up. Choose a different profession.
I bet if she posted some racist crap on Facebook everyone would be defending her talking about freedom of speech crap😂😂
Let's see what you do if a loved one has cancer.... 🖕🏼
"why join the NYPD if money is so important? we're not exactly famous for our paychecks" Salary for an NYPD officer after 5.5 years on the Job is over $120,000 dollars a year. not counting overtime or benefits.
But it's the before 5 years that the pay sucks for living in or near NYC. Given the situation in the story, I'd be surprised there wouldn't be a lot of female officers making the same choice to support their family. Pancreatic cancer is often relatively quick and not exactly pain-free.
The cost of living is also extremely high in NYC compared to other places in the country. That $120,000 is probably equivalent to about $35,000 ish somewhere else.
@@Twerkuliesi was going to say the same thing. Apartments slightly larger than my daughter's bedroom going for $1200+/mon. Hell...I wouldn't be surprised if Jamie and Eddie's apartment was around $3500/mon...more if it's a 2bd. LOL
If the cops lives in NYC, that's nothing. That's why most cops live in a cheaper burb!!
$120K today in NYC is nothing, you have federal taxes and NY State taxes, housing costs are through the roof, utilities are extremely expensive in NYC, food costs have skyrocketed, etc.
REMINDS ME OF THE PLAYBOY POLICEWOMEN PICTORIALS AND CENTERFOLDS TOO. WHERE'S THE BEEF IF IT ISN'T ILLEGAL AND NOT AGAINST DEPT. GUIDELINES? DON'T FORGET THE REALITY SHOW "NAKED & AFRAID" WHOSE CONTESTANTS COME FROM BACKGROUNDS LIKE THE CHARACHTER IN QUESTION HERE.
i thought that was eddie for a second
Women shouldn't be cops anyways. They don't have the strength required to take down criminal who are 90% men.
It's just a show
If was true. Just shows " the city" wasted money 💰💰💰💰
The real problem is that she was taking backshots from a guy wearing an ankle monitor.
Fine then do OF and quit the force. If it ‘blew up,’ then she is making bank.
3:20 pathetic attempt at justification.
the fact she's willing to stay and risk her life everyday means her jobs is more than money it's duty.
If she didn't want to dishonor the department she never should have took her clothes off in front of a web cam in the first place.
She did it for her mother...
And what about her brothers & sisters wearing the same uniform, and the ones who died IN the same uniform. those of us who actually served are the only ones who understand that the uniform is held to a higher virtue. it isn't about her mother. its about HER dishonoring the department making a selfish choice that affects the whole department. there were friends, resources, ANYTHING to help her. and she chose to smear the good name of the NYPD. We all have problems but that's why its called selfless service. Putting the job before yourself, especially when your job is keeping the peace. ....not a lot of respect from the masses for a peace-keeper posting nudes on OF just because she's short on money. @@nikparmar1173
Where i come from we take care of our parents when they need us.
If we must do something "dishonorable" in order to care for them?
Then we do so.
and yet she still takes the same risk everyday as all the other officers.
@scottbuckley823 Take it from me and my pals that served. Just because we wear the same uniform or swear to the same oath to serve and protect DOESN'T MAKE US THE SAME. We judge you every day on the choices you make. The oath, uniform, and creed are earned every day.
In this case, a reckless, shameful act of posting pictures of your body for cash. What message is that SENDING? If a police officer can do it, why can't I?
I dont discredit her being a good officer, but up until then, I'm sure she served her community well. But I'd lose respect and trust of my fellow officer if they started up an OF or started selling pictures of his/her body online.
If having strong Morals and being honor bound to an organization is too difficult, because believe me, it is for some. Then you never truly were one of us.
Not against the law so….
So a woman risking her life everyday should be fired because of a side hustle?.
A side hustle that realistically degrades women and the fact that she works as a police officer means that she's required to have a certain decorum.
It's her life. don't like it don't watch it. and police officers have done far worse then this in the past.
Should be fired for posting naked online
no @@LebbMangenaShow
@@LebbMangenaShow If its not against the law, there is nothing you can do.
She'll make more money via OF 🤷♂️.
Waiting for an OF comment
The New York Police Department (NYPD) employment contract includes a morals clause, also known as a “morals provision” or “bad boy clause.” This provision outlines the behavioral standards expected of NYPD officers and can lead to termination of employment if they engage in certain unacceptable conduct. I'm pretty sure having an "Only Fans" a behavioral standard that would be unacceptable.
Justifying immorality. Typical Hollywood writing. If the character was earning enough to replace her salary as a cop, she should have quit. If not, she should quit being an online...
Because being a cop requires upholding standards, not lowering them.
LOL, bro, this is just fiction. Chill the F out! If you're looking for TV to cater to you, expect to constantly be disappointed.
Frak your "morality". Where was your morality when Kyle Rittenhouse murdered 3 people and he got away scot-free? Where was your morality when Brock Turner raped an underaged girl and he only got a fine? Where was your morality when a Mississippi pig cop shot an 11 year old black boy in the chest when he called 911 for help?
It’s OK. Free the nipple
Anyone else notice a massive surge in women having OnlyFans account links on their Instagram profiles in the post-COVID era?
Not surprising, people who lost their jobs needed a way to get by
It was scenes like this that completely turned me away from the series. The money doesn't stretch, you can't afford to live in the city you defend but hey, don't address underpaid officers, protect the image. The show COULD have shown what the best version of the NYPD can be. Instead, finger wagging at these damn millennials and how the old guard needs to adapt.
You ever stop to consider that is what they are doing? The show can do both at the same time.
It wasn't so much about the underpaid officer so much as it was the legalised extortion laughably considered to be a health service by people in the US that pushes someone in her situation into trying to find a second income.
Yeah, none of those are reasons to condone online pr0stit ution. No self-respecting police agency should allow their officers to engage in sex work, as a side hustle or otherwise.
@@MrFerdBurfel Why not? Is working as a plumber, or electrician ok? Why not modeling?
@@GavinPriebe There's a big difference between clothed and nude "modeling".
