I love this! Tried to paint along....not a great idea, I paint much slower than you...lol. I’ll be finishing it up, then painting it again. I’ll be more relaxed painting it a second time. I also added more leaves and buds, challenging myself. This is quite a challenge to begin with, but perseverance will pay off! I look forward to your videos. Thank you so much for sharing ! Nell

I like daffodils because they are one of the first signs of spring along with crocuses - at least around here. Also, they serve as a local offering for a major charity - maybe Breast Cancer Research (?).

I love all the tips you give us. Just bought a paint tin similar to yours and am about to set it up with my watercolor paints. You make things look so so easy..we will see how my brain transfers your info soon. LOL Thanks for all your hard work.

I finally tried this one. Mine is very similar to yours but that’s partly because I’m a relative newbie and I think that is how we newbies learn. I desperately want to make my own work and I have been experimenting with that as well. You are really helping me! I painted your heart wreath but kept it at just the wreath without filling out the whole page. I even made up my own mythical flowers, except for the roses! It looks great! Thank you so very much!!💕

Hi Ellen, thanks for sharing all these materials and nice watercolor moments. I love your tutorials and would like to try them all! Thanks it’s fabulous.
Re: this last floral, I did not understand why you take part of the brown lines snd shades off. I found it so great with this precise touch and so many details, which is not often found in watercolor works. Was it just your choice or was there a technical reason fir this last step? Thanks a lot for your time. Keep on teaching us so many good things!

Ellen do you have any tutorials on paint brushes? I am a novice for sure and am figuring nautural hair brushes are the better, but as I said NOVICE here. I do not have a lot to play with $$ wise and do not want to go haywire. I just noticed that all # 10's are not alike. I want a round with pointed tip similar to what you use.But looking at a brush guide I am finding the set I have is more Filbert and my # 10 is not round. Any hints on what to look for in a starter inexpensive set? The most used. I inherited some of my Mom's but by the looks of them they were used for washes flat ones of various sizes. She did oils too. I do not think they will be of much use for sure. LOL I did get my paint box set up with 24 watercolors and they seem like the colors you use too. I like the ones you use but am sure I can't afford them:) but I have lots of flat and no round pointed ones.
