Thank you for taking the time to teach us drawing and watercoloring. I never thought I could do either and because of you I have so much more confidence.
SO BEAUTIFUL!! It’s just so relaxing to watch you draw and paint! You go step by step ‘slowly’ so that I can follow you and understand what you’re doing. I love all your videos!
Oh my gosh this is absolutely beautiful!
Really like watching you. God gave you a gift besides being a Mum. It shows that your passion is art. Your love for art comes out on paper. Thank you
Love your tutorials! I'm finding your info on shading especially helpful, e.g., figuring where to shade. Thanks Emma.❤️
On my way home for work I wonder what I'll be painting/drawing later, a very gentle method of teaching and a soothing way of unwinding, thank you Emma for your teachings that I find I can follow and learn lots
What a lovely relaxing way to spend half an hour, watching this. I had taken my tablet out last spring and took some close up pics of daffs, intending to try and paint them, and that's as far as l got! Didn't know where to start. They're quite hard to draw I've found. You have inspired and entertained me. Thankyou so much!
Me*2 🌹
Beautiful my fav flower
Thank you so much for this, i drew along and love how my daffodil came out now i am going to watch again and paint it! Thanks so much!
So beautiful! Thank you for another great tutorial!
Hi Emma! Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us all. I can’t wait for my supplies to arrive so I can start putting all what I’m learning into practice. I’m a little bit obsessed with learning about water colour. 😃
Since you’ve started the birth month flowers, I am really looking forward to the first of the next month all the time!
These month flowers series are great especially fun!
@@charlinefisher2650 They are, I agree! I've now made a fancy dedicated watercolor book just for this gorgeous monthly florals. LOVE them!
Oh my. I so enjoyed watching your real-time tutorial. You explained everything to my knowledge of understanding! I always watch a tutorial video first and then go at it. I have been trying to learn botanical painting and it is practice, practice, practice to the point where I need a timeout and relax. How I got to this tutorial I have no idea. It was not like I went straight to CZcams and quickly found this tutorial. It found me in selections as I opened up Google website on my phone. My daughter brought me a few cuttings of her daffodils and I thought I surely would like to paint them and your tutorial was there. Lols....it was meant to be. So I will be drawing and then painting daffodils and relaxing from the tedious botanical practicing. I am not going to stop with just your daffodils but follow you and painting the next monthly flower. Cannot wait. THANK YOU for making it so much fun.
I truly appreciate seeing this in real time.
Oh my gosh! That was so helpful. I’ve painted 2 daffodil paintings in the past week & wasn’t happy with either & I see what I was doing wrong just by watching this. Thank you! I’m off to try again!
Beautiful
This tutorial is fabulous, love how you explain all the colours you use and how you mix them and break each part down so it’s achievable. Thank you
Justfinished my gladioli thank you really pleased
Great series! Spring will be here soon 💐
You make it look sooo easy! I can’t wait to give it a try after work.
Thank you! Thank you for breaking the steps down!
You made it look so easy! Very pretty!
Fantastic lesson. I drew two daffodils. Not great but not bad for my first time ever. Thank you. I LOVE your tutorials.
Emma, you do watercolor paintings in such a nice and simple way. Everyone can learn after you have first shown how to do it. I feel it is a kind of philosophical way of painting you do. You little son is a bonus.
Love your tutorial! The flowers look fabulous. I will try to copy this and make a card out of this. Happy spring! Thank you so much.
I love the drawing tutorials with the painting!
I just love your videos showing us how to draw & paint flowers! Thank you. I’d love to see more of these, especially lupines, hydrangeas & beach roses. I live on the coast of Maine & these are my favorite flowers.
👍great scott. 👍
just stunning. loved watching. 💖
Beautiful. Thank you.
Emma! I waited 2 until today to do this because I was so apprehensive. This was a difficult flower (so I thought in my head). My 1st one (on awful cheap wc paper) was GREAT thanks to your perfect instruction AND the best floral I've ever done that you've gifted to us! (April is sweet pea, my flower, and that looks hard too). THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! :)

Just found this and gave it a go. My first try wasn't great, but I've learnt to have an actual daffodil in front of me rather than attempt it from memory. Thanks for inspiring me to try.
Love it! Love All ❤
So beautiful!! Thanks again!!
Beautiful work as always! Thank you for your wonderful tutorials!
Hi Emma
I just love your tutorials. I so appreciate all your tutorials but love your pen and ink ones- they are helping with my drawing skills as mine are a bit wonky. This helps my watercolor florals. I am learning so much from you at 73 years old. Also a wonderful use of time during this lockdown time in N.Y. C. Thanks so much! Dianne
Awesome job!
I must say you never disappoint! Your videos not only are they beautifully done but they're so relaxing to watch. Also very calming to listen too.
From the bottom of my heart, Thank you for sharing your knowlege and your gifts for water coloring.
You are so wonderful with mixing colors and shading. thank you. thank you.
Oh thank you!! These are my favorite flowers!
This is the best tutorial of a daffodil. Thank you for sharing in real time with explainations.
Emma, I absolutely love your videos, you inspire me. I had a total giggle fit watching this because I always watch with captions on and for some reason when you were starting to paint the second daffodil it said death battle in all caps
Didn't know the daffodil is a bith month flower. My birthday is in march ... so now I know why I love them so much :-). You're an amazing artist. All seems so simpel to do. I'll give it a try. So tfs!!
You did a wonderful job on the daffodils - they are more difficult than you would think.
Love, love, love the drawing lessons. Thanks Emma!
Beautiful ❤️💖😊. Thank you for sharing 😊😎 FL.
I prefer the watercolor daffodils so much better! I was so disappointed thinking you had changed your style. Thank you for being true to you! 👏👏👏
Love the flowers of the month. I get so inspired by your teaching and how you break it down. This one was lots of fun.
My parents loved daffodil's and had many different kinds but I think these were King Alfred's. Loved the tutorial and will paint some in the next few days.
Such a wonderful job with water paints. Beautiful!
Love this. Beautiful results. Thank you, Emma.
Hola me gusta tú trabajo he aprendido mucho gracias desde Cajica Colombia
I am so happy you are doing the birth month flowers, I look forward to following along with each one, I use them to send out birthday cards :)
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your talents. I can draw but have never mastered shading. And very drawn to watercolor. I think I will be able to figure both out now after watching your tutorials. Very easy to follow! ❤
Great video. I really appreciate real time demonstrations. The high speed ones I watch give me this motion sickness, kinda like watching VR video games. The pace and content are on point. Thanks much!
Lovely demo! Xx
❤️❤️😍😍😍😍
Where is the WOW! button. There needs to be one. Great video.
Emma, you sure are talented. Thank you for breaking it down step by step. I still need a ton of practice, lol.
Wonderful
You make it look so easy. I can't wait to start practicing.
Lovely painting, thank you Emma
Wow! These are your finest daffodils yet, Emma! The leaves were genius, as you used your "light pressure heavy pressure" technique. That was my lightbulb moment as I pondered how to lengthen them. Magnificent! :)

I love watching you paint and draw. I agree with Gin you truly have a gift. You are an awesome instructor and a great Mom. Thank you for taking your time to share and teach. =)
Keep the videos coming and before you know it you will have 200K subscribers.
You always explain it so well and make it look easy. Thank you
Absolutely beautiful,thank you 🌻
I love daffodils and it is my birth month!!
You are amazing. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful talent!
I love this so beautiful both of them came out lovely
Thank you, it’s beautiful. 😍
I always enjoy watching your tutorials. Here I just wonder why you painted those leaves coming from the stems of the daffodils - that' s not the way they grow. In the drawing they look much more realistic.
Hi from Ann uk my birthday flower x
Loved this how to.
Just beautiful
So beautiful!
Outstanding work!!!😀😀
You are fantastic make it look so easy (but its not) thank you for sharing.
Really good job
love this!
Just subscribed :) I wanted to drop a comment to say that I really appreciate how accessible you make this medium. The simplicity of your videos and your paintings (and the materials you use) are balm to my soul after a long, stressful day. Thank you for all you do, and for sharing your talent with us :)
Love these tutorials! Have you ever thought about doing an “ink and wash” video?
She JUST did one this week, did you see it? Was fun!
Emma, I have been following you for a while, you also have such a beautiful baby 😊 I love your style and your passion, you’re not only a great artist but also a great teacher. And you are so down to earth and patient, it’s a pleasure to watch you and listen to you. But no matter how good a teacher you are, I cannot draw, thats just something I have 2 left hands for. But I love to color and I’m pretty good at that. I color with markers, and lately mostly with watercolor markers, I love the effect you get with those and blending with the waterbrush. I wanted to ask you ,you won’t sell some of your line art that I can download and print and then color it of course. That’s how I get my sketches or line art,but its not easy to find nice ones and not always clean lines, not too complicated. So that’s why I’m asking you. Thank you and looking forward for more videos 😊👍❤️
Hello. I am french and I just begin aquarelle. I love so much your tutorials. Can you said me what brushes mark you use please? And also the paint mark? Me, I use paint buckets Winston and newton but yours seem different. Thank you a lot and congratulations for your art. Mireille
Just an add-on- could you do some more glazing florals? I love your technique. Dianne
These are very pretty, but if you want a more accurate depiction, the leaves do not come from the floral stem, but from the bulb as does the floral stem....
Hi Emma is it possible to draw the first bit but then also paint it? I've pretty much done all your birth month flower drawings but im useless at painting without a drawing to follow if that makes sense cx
Hello magnificence
Wonderful! Have you done a demo painting of an amaryllis...they are so dramatic..
The center looks brown. It’s bright yellow in real life. I love your work though. Thank you 😊
Have you ever done the stargazer lily?
🍃🌼🍃🌼🍃🌼👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Do you ever paint over your drawing? I'd like to see that.
Листья нарциссов растут от земли,кончики более закруглённые.
Love this Emma. What size is the paper ??
Leann Cunningham 6x9 inches
What happened to the ink drawing
Karen Maple what do you mean?
Hi Emma, I’m trying again, with my comments I also had a question, if you have a chance I would appreciate if you can reply. Thank you. 😊
Hi! She is always saying in her videos that she doesn't reply to youtube comments as much as she would like to. But if you reach out to her Instagram, it's more likely for her to reply. Try it there and I hope she reaches back 🙂
Daffodils are a six petal flower. One of your flowers has only 5 petals.
Me drawing them to find out it isn't necessary for the painting.., 🙈
I was taught to paint from life - if you had a daffodil in front of you you’d soon see the leaves are nothing like the way you have painted them. I know you say you don’t want to be accurate, but ...
Amazing
