Described by Michael Bublè as "Three beautiful ladies, singing equally beautiful harmonies", The Puppini Sisters pioneered the swing revival in 2006, with their first album Betcha Bottom Dollar.
Since then, they have released 5 albums, toured the world, have long been regarded as the world’s leading close-harmony group, and count Prince Charles, The Manhattan Transfer and Michael Bublé amongst their fans.
This is their version of a beloved 1950s classic, Mr Sandman,(originally performed by The Chordettes) performed live at The Premises Studios in London.

    MR SANDMAN
Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream (bum bum bum bum)
Make him the cutest that I've ever seen (bum bum bum bum)
Give him two lips like roses and clover (bum bum bum bum)
Then tell him that his lonesome nights are over
Sandman, I'm so alone (bum bum bum bum)
Don't have nobody to call my own (bum bum bum bum)
Please turn on your magic beam
Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream
Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream
Make him the cutest that I've ever seen
Give him the word that I'm not a rover
Then tell him that his lonesome nights are over
    Sandman, I'm so alone
Don't have nobody to call my own
Please turn on your magic beam
Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream
Mr. Sandman (yes) bring us a dream
Give him a pair of eyes with a "come-hither" gleam
Give him a lonely heart like Pagliacci
And lots of wavy hair like Liberace
    Mr Sandman, someone to hold
Would be so peachy before we're too old
So please turn on your magic beam
Mr Sandman, bring us, please, please, please
Mr Sandman, bring us a dream

I know it doesn't matter to most of you but that song is definitely not from the 1940s. The 1940s and 1950s were quite different, at least to those of us around at that time.

The song is from the 1950s but I guess they are singing in a 1940s style?

If I may be a little sexist......Great singing, great harmonies, fabulously attractive women, but the blonde lady is obscenely attractive. Is she a robot ?

Very difficult song to do well, unfortunately this doesn't come close to Ronstadt/Parton/Harris, when I first heard that on the radio I was speechless, nice try though.
