Hi Alan She’s a runner and she’s looking good. Another well thought out and well executed restoration. Another worthy addition to your impressive collection. Well done. 👏👏👍😀
Hi Nobby. A lot of the German model steam engine manufacturers were located in the same area of Germany, Nuremberg. So I guess they influenced each other when it came to design. Cheers, Alan.
Hi Alan. Came up well. Strangeness with the flywheel inclusions. It may have been centrifugally cast, which could explain why the original surface was OK, even though the inner is flawed. Interesting. Cheers Rob
Hi Rob. Thanks, I didn't think it turned out too bad. I never considered spin casting, I did think that maybe Mamod out sourced the production of parts like the flywheels. Assuming no one ever does what I did then you would never know. Cheers, Alan.
runs great Alan
another history lesson and another renovation ticked off the shelf

Thanks Kev. Yes, the old "to do" shelf is looking a bit sparse these days 🤣 Cheers, Alan.
Great engine restoration as usual. Nice little engine.

Perfect running engine, what more could you want😊
Thanks David. There was quite a lot to do but nothing too complex. Cheers, Alan.
@@RetroSteamTech you did a good job, like watching your engine posts, cheers David 👍
Nice little engine. Interesting how these German engines are very similar in design. Thanks for sharing Alan. Cheers Nobby

Alan there's just 'something' about uprights in my opinion - Cheers Jim
Hi Jim, yes I agree, they have a certain elegant quality about them. Cheers, Alan.
