      How is it a shame? Would you rather have no one come together when a tragedy happens???. I don't know if you've ever lost a family member, but when someone you love dies, family members from different states or cities usually all ban together for the funeral. America is unified and it's always been a country of helping others, some people just choose to point out the disgusting parts of it.

    I’m a Pats fan. I’m mad at the giants for winning the super bowl twice against my pats. But for that Giants player and that fan calling the Giants GM after 9/11, I’m a fan. This is one of those moments where football is more than a game, football, and any other sport, becomes family. You take care of others, whether it’s you family, friends, teammates, or in this case, your city. I remember when the Boston Marathon bombing happened, everyone was devastated in Boston. Big Papi, the next day, came out with his speech and wore “Boston” jerseys and not the “Red Sox” jerseys. America has a lot of tragedies, so for Big Papi to come out and say “This is our f**king city” meant a lot for Boston fans. Well I’ll tell you what, THIS IS OUR F**KING COUNTRY!! God bless everyone.

    I never realized how much the entire league came together to support America. I was (emphasis on was) a Giants fan living in New York at the time. I remember seeing their first game on TV after 9/11. Really was a special moment not just for the NFL, but for the entire world of professional sports. I'll never forget that game. Nowadays the NFL is unwatchable. I mostly stopped watching the NFL the same year Kaepernick took a knee for the National Anthem. This season I'm not watching a single game. Players no longer play for their country, the same country that gave them the freedom to make millions of dollars. If the league and the players don't have respect for anything, why should I have respect for them as a fan that supported the league? NFL TV viewership has been in decline for years now and I don't see it improving anytime soon. Certainly not this season at least. After seeing this video, it really is sad to see what has become of this league and it's the players fault for causing fans like myself to tune out. RIP NFL.

    • @Chris-2
      @Chris-2 Před rokem

      The pentagon wasn’t attacked. Read into the facts, it’s honestly sickening. Did you know that there were TRILLIONS of dollars unaccounted for in our government, and “nobody knew where it was” so the pentagon assigned an entire accounting wing to investigate. The only single part of the pentagon that was hit on 9/11, was the accounting win with those thousands of files, and the investigation was closed. There is news footage less than an hour after the explosion at the pentagon, and there was no plane wreckage in sight. The hole in the pentagon was measured, it wasn’t anywhere near large enough to show it had been hit by a 737 plane. Did you know our own government was investigating the hijackers months before 9/11, and they did nothing to stop them? If we should feel bad for anyone, it should be the American people who were indoctrinated to believe all the bs lies we were fed about this day, it’s disgusting.

    As any of us who were over the age of 10 years old when 9/11 happened, I myself was 35, there's two observations I'd like to make: It took one horrific event on American soil to unite this Country unlike anything I've EVER witnessed in my lifetime....EVER! And.... it took one man to divide this Country unlike anything I've EVER witnessed in my lifetime. Imagine that? Think about it. God Bless!

    A comment from 2020: The sense of nationalism is what this American society is missing. Too much political strife and too much difference. We are all one and the same. We are all American. Although 9/11 was tragic and one of the nation’s most devastating events, the people came together and only had one stance: America. In 2020, on the anniversary of 9/11, I look at the pride that everyone held after this event, no matter what race. This is what we are missing in 2020; unity.
