- It's Year 4 of the Madden 24 Saints Franchise. After two tough seasons forcing us into a rebuild, we're hoping to emerge as a playoff contender once again. With a new Quarterback and exciting offensive additions, could the pieces be in place for the Saints to compete for the division title?
My Franchise on Madden 24 begins with the New Orleans Saints. The Saints offer a unique challenge compared to any other team looking at their future cap space problems and aging roster. The Saints are not a bad team in 2023 at all. But their future could not be anymore problematic as cap restraints will cause them to move on from players, including some of their aging veterans they still rely on.
I aim for a more sim feel to my Franchises. I play on All Madden sliders that promote a more realistic play style. I have developed my own XP sliders to create a more authentic feel to Franchise in terms of developing young players and replacing regressing veterans.
This will be my biggest Madden 24 series, and I'm excited to get the rebuild underway. - Hry
That Washington roster feels like it was put together by someone playing franchise. All those superstars and X factors.
I liked the last game because it felt realistic. A team loses their best WR, I know it was a TE but he is special, then the QB loses confidence and does not trust his other targets. The coach gets thrown off and forgets he has the best RB in the league. And the Saints have unknowns show out for one game.
The new format of multiple games with a slight focus on highlights is sick, Cane.
Besides overthrowing every open receiver, against Washington, Westbrook played well.
His biggest issue. Always overthrowing.
I’d almost want Cane to try Mayweather again but even he was just as not good when he tried.
The morale is hurting Westbrook’s accuracy or he probably hits a couple of those passes. Improving the interior of the o-line will greatly improve the offense.

I don't know what will happen this episode, but knowing how this franchise has been the Saints will probably look like they're playing the wrong sport after having such a good win. We can never have nice things.

I am loving the rollercoaster ride of this franchise. Real teams often deal with failed prospects, poor development, morale issues in the locker room, etc. Also, this is the Saints, a team with a lot of suffering in its history. Having to deal with all this adversity is part of a great story. This is good stuff!

I actually really like these double headers for the less critical games. The pacing and energy of the last two videos feels really good, though I do still love the full-length play by play episodes too
I’ve been with you Cane since the beginning and you said it perfectly when it comes to this new format. It’s extremely refreshing and it makes those bigger games (playoff games, big late season games, season openers or debuts) in the series seem that much more important when it gets its own video and you go play by play commentary on it. I love it!

The ofseason focus should be all o-line. This line is leaving us handicapped almost every single game.
The O and D line needs to be addressed.
The quick episodes are really good, the content is always top notch, I feel like quicker is better especially with the team struggling, get through that bad to get the team to the spot you want but any way you put it out I'm gonna watch🏆🏆🏆
Its a dark day when the play of Westbrook has me missing the short lived Darnold era. Boy does this team need him to develop in a hurry. Last thing he needed with his bad stats was that morale hit.
Really gotta work on the pocket presence. A lot of these sacks and costly pressure are due to you escaping to the edge and walking into rushers.
Not much you can do about Westbrook missing from clean pockets, but you can help him get more attempts from one.

Edit: that being said I'm really enjoying the franchise and I really like the direction the format is going in.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe that guard for the bears was on the board when we traded out of the 4th overall pick for Juan (a peewee player could get identical production) Beard. If I recall correctly than wooof that’s some poetic justice.

Try adjusting your LB to be in a mid read instead of a 3 rec hook in the Tampa 2, they get a lot more depth

This defense just can't stop anyone. We routinely make everyone look like a future HoFer when they're on offense. Meanwhile, we can't even get 10 yards rushing anymore on offense.
This is a great video format Cane. Easy flow to each game and it moves the series along at a good pace. Knowing your storytelling; you will slow down when and if the time is right so keep this up and as I love the "building" part of your series more than the games sometimes getting to the offseason will be cool.
I'm ready for another offseason.

Can’t believe we are already on our fourth undefeated season, but I’m really interested to see where the series goes after seeing the latest episode, where he negotiated everlasting peace in the Middle East.
Love the back 2 back games, keep it up. Just one other thing. Take what the defense is giving you. Iv'e notice that you have the RB coming out of the backfield clean. Just take those check downs sometime.

Serious worries for Westbrook. At this rate he's not going to move up to star dev at the end of the season! Also really liking the new format, focusing on the story as a whole for the regular season, since we plat these franchises for the story

Have you considered firing Tim Cannon and then taking over the Saints with a new HC? Last series, we watched HJC sort of luck his way into success with the Titans after several seasons when he should have been fired. Is the same thing going to happen to Cannon?

Paulsen Adebo should be the first to get moved. We know we have enough talent there, and he could get us some help in the trenches or in terms of picks.
A) You need to throw the ball away on occasion rather than drop back and lose 10 yards every sack
B) Use your FB on occasion for some of the short gains on 3rd or 4th down
C) I think you need to utilize more slant routes instead of so many in and outs

I consider this season a success just because of reaching the 6-win mark which I was starting to think was a myth, like Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster. Dare I hope for a whopping...SEVEN wins next season??? Also, two more vids and an offseason next weekend is fine with me 😊
Wow. Madden is just such a cringeworthily bad game 😂. It says a lot about Cane’s storytelling and effort as a creator that this series is still watchable. Watching a QB with EVEN decent arm talent miss like he’s a 50 ovr. while Darnold throws on-the-run, perfect dimes across his body while on his back foot is downright immersion-killing. That said, thanks for sticking this series out brother.

I agree with a OL move this offseason. I think trades, signings and drafting is an "all the above" option for the OL. Westbrook can succeed with the right protection to develop. Him being rushed isn't helping him much.

The only reason Westbrook doesn't have 25 INTs already this season is because his passes are so wildly inaccurate they don't even come close to defenders.

I think doing more quick passes will help. Woth the oline and westbrook struggles under pressure he just can't hit these long developing rights consistently.

I don’t understand how the slow sim somehow can make darnold make these throws being pressured and on the run when Westbrook sees just a smidge of pressure in the pocket and can’t hit an open receiver
I personally think you need better WRS and o-Line for offense. The normal Dev receivers are great but you need at least 1 or 2 more star prospects. and yeah d-line and corner for defense.
