What I want to know is why was his chair far away from the camera? Due to that camera trick he looked shorter when he was sitting "across" from the ladies. He was clearly not even sitting right across from them. The ladies look gigantic next to him while they are sitting, but when he stood up they were shorter.

That was really humble of him to rate himself as an "8" then, talk about dedicated powerlifters. There was something very wholesome about that. What a gracious gentleman! I wish him the VERY best of success in his positive endeavors! Respect!💪🏿🙂
It would be disingenuous for him to rate himself as a ten. Powerlifters and Strongmen and Weightlifters are insanely strong. The top athletes in those sports are amongst the strongest humans to have ever lived.

i love how self aware this sport has made him. or perhaps he always was, and so its made him as successful as he is. he knows people are not used to something like this and their intrigue is not their fault, so he accepts it and embraces what he is contributing to their world.

I've found that many serious bodybuilders tend to be laid back and soft-spoken like this fellow. There's is a quiet charisma about them.
It’s because most guys that go to the gym are the ones that are shy, socially anxious, introverted etc and they tend to enjoy time by themselves to improve, not saying there aren’t any SOCIAL people at the gym but normally it’s most young social people tend to go out most of the time so they leave gym out of the way

I'm not jacked as him but Im definitely one of those serious bodybuilders/powerlifter and I think the reason why we are quiet is because we lack social intelligence due too spending too much in the gym lol and we stopped hanging out with other people. Also after years of bodybuilding, the more you realize how having too big muscles is useless on fight so that idea made me not be a jerk and people shouldnt get scared on us.

After being active in the fitness community for years, it's refreshing to see comments on how people finally see bodybuilders as nice and humble, they've always been like that.
I disagree, that's too broad. Bodybuilders are people, there are all types of personalities in bodybuilding.

@@KRE03051 For sure, there definetely is some narcissism in bodybuilding, especially the high levels of it where people compete. But below that, it's mostly people who just like lifting, putting on muscle and pushing themselves.
There's narcissism in a lot of fields, for example: modeling. Having narcissistic tendencies towards one part of your life doesn't make you a bad person, nor does it make you a self-entitled moron; it's more so that a lot of bodybuilders have had body image issues in the past, and they started doing it to prove to themselves that they weren't what people told them they were.

Just not sure it’s good for the public image of the sport. Drugs have always been associated with the sport, but body building was once widely respected as a highly disciplined sport, where you had to work hard in the gym and have a strict disciplined diet. But it seems that these days, Mr Olympia is more about taking the right combination of drugs, than it is workout and diet.
I feel so bad when the little girl cried and left. His heart broke a little bit there.

This is so uplifting. I have been training (weight lifting, calisthenics, biking, MMA) for 9 years and I'm on Intermittent Fasting for 10 years now, thank God. Before that I was obese at 231,5 lbs (now I'm 176, 37 lbs). I do workout and diet because I love it. I like the feeling of being fit and healthy, and it helps me a lot with my career and life in general. Sometimes people look at me in awe, sometimes they got scared, sometimes they smile. But sometimes they even laugh.... and tell me that I look like a freak. But I don't care. I love my lifestyle. I love to be me. For the people out there that hesitate to do workout or diet because you're afraid that people will laugh at you (and they will - out of jelousy, believe me), just don't believe what they said. Stay in fosus. Believe in what you're doing, believe in the gift that God has given to you. And just be you! 'Coz you're worthed!
