I have to admit, he makes some stupid decisions in the beginning of the game. But it’s impossible not to love him.
He's a bit male version of sister of the girl I adore.
Certain other cute scenes that could have been added:
1. If you keep silent when Louis asks about how you feel about your imminent deaths, he will say "You know I'm here for you."
2. Brawn option: Louis will try to flex his muscles and winks at Clem, making her laugh. (cutest reaction)
3. Choose classical music: Louis will say "Ah, a woman after my own heart."
4. After confessing feelings to Louis, choose the option "You're a weirdo": Clem tells Louis that he is such a weirdo, to which he responds "Yeah, but apparently you dig that, so who's the weirdo here? It's both of us." So cute, but of course the kiss is still the best option

This is what I loved most about this season! It was such a change in mood, it was so fun to play and all these moment made me smile and laugh, making me love Clem and Louis and their relationship with eachother and AJ. I've really felt this joy in previous twd games, which is what made this season so special to me
Yes! I didn’t like the new gameplays, but the story was so much more.... light. You could actually relax and enjoy the moment. I think this was possible because they grew up with this world, they needed to know how to relax in it. As for the adults in the previous game, the situation was so stressful compared to what they knew before that there was no time for feeling peaceful.
Louis is the most charismatic character in the whole TWD universe.
On par with King Ezekiel in that aspect, actually.

I imagine what would be Omid, Lee’s and Kenny reaction to meeting Louis.
My guesses:
Omid = he would have LOVED the guy. They would be always together making jokes and keeping people relaxed.
Kenny = he would’ve disliked him from the start. He would think he wasn’t good enough for Clementine, but after seeing her smile e him protecting her, he would have put his guard down and welcomed Louis into the family.
Lee= he would keep an eye on Louis all the time. As soon as he noticed clementine and him crushing into one another, he would have had “the dad talk” with Louis. But in the end they would become friends.
I could see Lee walking in between them to keep them from get too close
I'd LOVE to see Lee giving the "dad talk" to Louis and Clem being like "Please stop" while Louis were like "Don't worry Sir, I'd take care of her" like he's saying his vows

You know, I don't have a problem with Clem and violet, but I like Clem's and Louis's relationship more, it just seems like there's more of a connection, and I could totally see her gravitating towards him because he's funny and spreads positivity that she hasn't seen in a long time. It just makes total sense to me that she'd be with him. But anyway I digress on this hypothetical video game conversation

Honestly, same. Violet was a complex character with her own issues to solve and personal growth. Clementine has already had her own growth from the many things she experienced ever since the dead started to walk, which makes pairing her with Violet hard for me to get behind. Louis, with his smile and sense of humor, gives her the chance to breathe and feel like their can still be hope in the messed up world they are living in. He always encourages her and treats her like the strong, independent woman she is. And though he may use his jokes to hide his actual feelings when it comes to tense situations, you can see how he practically wears his heart on his sleeve.
Too often I see protagonists like Clementine paired up with the brusque, lone wolf type characters like Violet, which to be fair is not a bad pairing. But we hardly ever see them with the jokey character, which sucks because not everyone is attracted to the mysterious loner type. So its nice to see this type of relationship, even if its in a universe where corpses walk
Yeah although they gave the option for Violet you could tell they intended for Clementine to be with Louis too based on how many more cute/romantic scenes they got together. And I agree with what you said, Clem is a serious person and never really got a childhood, I think it's good for her to be with someone who makes her laugh and feel young again. They are too cute together 🥰
If Lee and Kenny were alive I bet they would have scared the shit outta Louis 😂

well in my opinion, Violet's path is fun but Louis's path is cute and awkward lol
violet is great if you save her, but the fact that she betrays you if you don't made me lose all respect for her. louis loves clem regardless of what her choices are. friendzone, romance, save, don't save, it's clear his love doesn't just disappear, even if you don't feel the same. with violet it seems like you have to make all the perfect choices or else she doesn't care for you anymore. i appreciated her loyalty if you save her and her defending clem and aj after the whole marlon incident, but other than that it really didn't feel like it was genuine like with louis.
Clementine's kisses with Louis last longer. AJ reacts better to her having a relationship with him too.

I'm sure the creators expected and put more thought and reactions for the Lois route. It's why it fits like a story rather than the other route. You can just tell. Don't know how he isn't the most chosen.
@@mondzi4390 If you've seen my comments on other videos, I honestly think Louis is a pretty weak love interest tbh. I love him and I think he's good for Clem, but I feel like Telltale went OUT OF THEIR WAY to ensure he looked as weak as possible when compared to Violet. It's the main reason Louis wasn't chosen. They practically trick the player into choosing Vi when she claims she's going to check the school defenses. It was stuff like that. Louis always gets the short end of the stick too. But I understand why.
Telltale HAD TO make him the weaker love interest. Why? To balance out Violet. If Louis was stronger, it would have been a landslide pick for him since the straight pairing usually gets more fans than the LGBT one. so they sort of had to nerf Louis and they also nerfed Violet still having feelings for Minnie.
@@BlackWingedSeraphX Oh I agree with you knowing more about your thoughts on it. He and Violet were existing on two opposite extreme sides. You want a serious person who can protect you? Choose Vi. You want to goof around and probably die? Choose Louis. I noticed this. I could even tell Vi liked Clem when she went into her room to talk and sat on her bed. It's very subtle things.
I honestly didn't choose any romantic things when I played, first of all, I played with my brothers and one is strictly game business and no flirting, so I only saw what people post online, and from what I saw, they did put more thought into Louis' and his character change to become stronger for Clem. Whereas for Vi they made her retreat into herself and even attack her, also she still loved Minnie, which made me angry because she would chose Minnie over Clem.
Also, because Louis is so weak for most of the game, if you let him get kidnapped, he's always in danger. He didn't gain strength until he accidentally killed someone. I think that Vi was winning, but when people saw that she would betray Clem and the group and help Minnie, that made people choose neither. It seemed out of the blue for Vi to do that to me as well. She's smart, you know?
I heard they wanted to do more with the game but didn't have enough time, and maybe that would have given the love interests more to work with.

Season 4 Clem was terrific, she had this good mix of being mature and responsible enough, but at the same time she felt like a teen, because she could be very goofy and had some funny lines or moments, like when she pranks AJ into licking saltlick then doing little "gotcha!" chuckle, or how awkwardly she acted around Louis, because game clearly pushes you to have Clem-Louis romance (Violet starts out of nowhere, from a single dialogue choice, with zero setup).
S1 Clem is just way too adorable, and season 4 Clem is really cool, she's like that one friend you wish you had. Also, if you try to be "mean Clem" it just doesn't work,. Tried it once, and her player-selected lines clash so much with her scripted lines. Game obviously wants you to play her as kindhearted girl who protects people she cares about.
At first I was neutral about Louis and liked him a lot on episode 1, but when we got the option to choose him in episode 2 I absolutely LOVED LOVED HIM! him and Clem's moments always put a smile on my face, and when I saw how Aj loved to hang with Louis that made me fall for him even more. Violet never grabbed my attention tbh, I just saw her as the rest of the past survivors which Clem has encountered a lot, and her negative attitude always brushed me off. At first I was neutral about violet but started to hate her in episode 3. When I saw what happened to her eyes I felt bad for her, but at least she can still see out of one and still has her personality.

So Violet didn’t need help, Louis did...well, I guess I could’ve just said it that way
