Fate zero is the most beautiful depiction of Excalibur, Fate heavens feel is the most badass one.
I think the prototype excalibur showed the sheer force of excalibur and zero showed the purity and trueness of Excalibur
Bruh I just finished watching heavens feel 3 and the animation is god tier....I want more of the fate franchise to be animated like heavens feel hahaaha

That's because they from different studio, the 2010 Movie is by Studio Deen, the 2011 Fate/Zero is by Ufotable
Ufotable's animation department definitely won a holy grail war to animate these attacks at majestic and mesmerizing blend of 2d and 3d animation
There’s hardly any 3d animation in these attacks tho if at all. They are animated by Nozumu Abe. His work is incredible
The fact that 90% of the attacks on the fight scenes are 2D and are hand drawn, damn these animators are godsent. No animation studio can even come up close to this level tbh truly a masterpiece.

@@JustAreru like I said, one from each source. One from the visual novel, one from DEEN, DEEN UBW, one from Zero, one from UFO UBW, one from Kaleid, one from FGO: First Order, one from HF2 and one from HF3. There would be way too many Excaliburs if they chose to include every single one

Rider still get rekt by Salter in Heaven's Feel. Shirou is the one who finished Salter after surviving Rider's NP.

EVEN THOUGH Heaven's Feel is perhaps the coolest and best animated scene in anime period, I still think Zero's was the best. It's just iconic.

First I have a question as I just watched F/SN: UBW so I am a bit confused. Then I have a neat fun fact about the actual Irl human who inspired her character:
Did Arturia go dark side? Because Purple (traditionally speaking) in Eastern Media has a negative connotation. It’s used by the villains as red tends to be their royal colors and Blue tends to be the political diet, Purple is meant to represent the evil that becomes when you mix the two.
Okay Fun fact: Arturia is possibly the most accurate portrayal of The character. We have had all sorts of historical data that shows that King Arthur was a real person. They were compared with real warriors:
“Drakar is a great warrior, but he’s no Artur.” (That’s how they spelled the name in Norse)
So much so that historians found a grave twenty years ago that they thought for sure was his but inside of it laid a woman’s skeleton.
There are theories now that Artur, was actually Arturia and she just was an amazing swordsman, this was where the writing of the character for Fate comes from.
