I love this interviewer!!! There were so many irritating interviewers around the Carol campaign that it's so nice to see someone who actually asks well-thought-out and gracefully phrased questions. You can tell that both Rooney and Cate loved talking to him, which despite their infinite poise and manners, is obviously not always the case.
I'm so glad she didnt miss out on the chance to play Therese. Could not imagine anyone else doing it justice
I know right?! Mia Wasikowska would play Therese but she couldn't and backed out and then Rooney came! She was and still is the perfect actress to play Therese!

I thoroughly believe when she says that she didn't have to pretend being in love with Cate, like if their real relationships are mirrored on the film. It adds sincerity to the filmy and that is why I love it so much.
this!! definitely one of the reasons why their chemistry on screen felt so real and genuine.. i loved their relationship outside of the film too. so wholesome
