- How to celebrate Litha? What is Litha? Do you know a litha? The summer solstice is her and this is some midsummer witchcraft magick showing you how. Litha is a great fire festival of the Wiccan religion and although I am not a Wiccan, traditional witches were celebrating this event long before the wiccans go involved. With lots of all night dancing, feasting and drinking, what is not to like? My favourite way to celebrate litha, which is not witchcraft or in this video, but I do every year, is to garland my head with flowers, and those of the children. Such a pretty array of baby witches they look too.
The summer solstice falls on June 21st this year at 04.31 GMT, and what better way to celebrate than to greet the sun as it rises across the horizon and shout out in glee.

I'll bet you're a gracious host. Lucky guest you have.
Gracious? I dont think that I have ever been called that before! Frenetic maybe……but I would like to think that I am gracious so thank you.
What a beautiful and inspiring video all about Litha! I love that you went into a bit of detail about the history of it 😀
Thank you so much, I enjoy those tidbits, so I always think that others might too.
I’m definitely going to make that cake. Thank you so much for this video . I liked that small fire ceremony too. I will do with my kids tonight
The fire ceremony is used by many religions (think of a baptism in a church where a candle is lit from the altar candles and passed to the parents….) But they all got it from witchcraft (in my opinion)
The cake looks delicious! I think I may celebrate by eating cake this year. Have a lovely Solstice x
Happy holidays!
Thank you very much for the delicious honey cake recipe!! I am going to make it this weekend for my friends 😍🌻 Many blessings!
Hope you enjoy it, use extra honey as a glaze on top
Only recently started researching witchcraft and it really resonates with me... your channel is great, thanks and have a wonderful Litha 🙏🏻🤗
Thank you! You too!
Ohhh I must convert that recipe! I am very excited as everyone will be home this year for MidSummer! AND we have a fire pit ready to go! Now to find flowers to go with our wildflowers growing in the front yard...
Love the sound of a fire pit, wildflowers and family about - that would be my perfect midsummer
I would love to interview you for my CZcams channel as I am starting to delve into Wicca and I can honestly say, it is not what I thought it was at all. There are so many misconceptions about the religion and I would love to chat with you about it!
My names Charlotte, your content is lovely ✨
I dont know that much about Wicca, I am not a Wiccan and I do not follow the religion, so think that I might not be the person to ask, thanks though.
😍🌞🌞🙏

I'm from Pendle (Nelson) here in Lancashire....any chance of a programme about your knowledge and thoughts on the Pendle Witches, Ginny...? ...and I do know that a lot of it is just 'Tourist' stuff and not completely factual.I also know that they're knowledge of a Leyline that runs across the top of and thru the trig point on top of Pendle didn't go down well.
I dont know that much about the Pendle witches, I have read a bit bout them but couldnt say whether their magic was accurate because sadly I have not investigated this myself.
Is it possible to just mix honey and water and let it sit to make a sort of mead or is the fancy and expensive equipment necessary?
So the ancients would take honey and water and leave it in a crock (an earthenware jar) to attract the yeast, then seal it and ferment it. So no expensive equipment is needed.
@@GinnyMetheral Oh wow, thank you!
Ginny: Jesus Christ loves you.
Great!
