    *TL;DR 9.2 seconds*
    .. not sure why this needed a 13 minute video

  • @Josh-179
    @Josh-179 Před 7 lety +10

    Just so people are aware, Car & Driver and others got it to 60 in 7.2 sec in official settings. In case anyone thinks the 8 or 9 seconds is too slow.

      It matters, turbos don't eliminate altitude, they compensate but don't eliminate it completely. BTW it a recen car and driver comparison it got to 60 in 6.8s which is freaking fast for a 7 passenger vehicle

      They also had the warm air blowing during testing. With premium gas, I've gotten consistently 6.9 seconds on flat road, no pax. 2018 CX9 GT. Fun car!

    Hey Roman mica...u forgot to tell people that that u can put premium gas in the cx9 as well and the horsepower jumps up to 250. Not unless u didn't know that.

    Can you get a camera that does better then 480p if you are going to keep doing these video's ? I miss the 4K quality.

    Nissan Rogue is a 4banger 3row but no turbo. The Volvo XC90 is nice but I've been hearing nothing but reliability nightmares on that thing.

    That zero to 60 time, impressed me. I didn't know Mazda had a turbo 4 like this. Interesting.

    You can get the new Explorer with the 2.3L EcoBoost. That would be a direct competitor.

    Pushing the CX-5 for the best of the Mazda SUV line-up. Not sure the 0-60mph is something that owners view as a critical feature

      Wouldn't make a difference to 60 mph. It's not using peak HP to get there. Only makes a difference revving it out at higher speeds.

      Nissan Pathfinder is the worst reliable and worst looking vehicle. Interior is really really bad. Nissan has to do something about the Pathfinder Asap! Murano though is very good!

    Audi Q7 has a 2.0t i4 engine and it's much better than this. Mazda is lazy with their interior tech.

    • @Josh-179
      @Josh-179 Před 7 lety +4

      Rice Tea, how is Audi's 2.0 better? For $10,000 more (base Q7 vs top line CX-9), you get 37 lb ft of torque less than the Mazda and about the same HP. More displacement in the Mazda could prove more reliable as well.

    • @lakers1436
      @lakers1436 Před 6 lety

      With Q7's price tag it better kick ass
