- The Genesis Arms Gen-12 is a 12-gauge upper receiver that can be attached to a Gen I DPMS AR-10-style lower12. It uses a short recoil action, similar to how a Glock operates, to cycle the gun1. The barrel itself moves a short distance to cycle the gun, rather than using a DI gas system like in ARs

38 yrs ago in sniper school they made us fire thousands of rounds with iron sights before they ever let us touch the optics. Even quality optics fail from time to time.

Awesome review! How is it that you have a fully semi auto? 🤔 lol. That’s probably why that Aimpoint failed. Just guessing. Most of us will never, ever shoot a fully, semi auto shotgun! 😂
I have done a lot of research on the Genesis 12, and I have yet to hear anything bad about it. So, this will be my next shotgun. Todd, I do want to turn you onto the 6mm Max Broadsword, by Son’s of Liberty Gunworks. Texas based company and ammunition. I am curious to see how it works on hogs. Nah I think there had to be a defect in this one mount. I have several Duty RDS Aimpoints on other full semi rifles that have way more recoil than this thing does.

Don't give up on the Turkish BP 12 Bullpups - the issue with them is that out of the box they are NOT ready to go. After some break in and minor gunsmithing it runs as smooth as a baby's ass and for the money its just too much damm fun. Its actually what gave me the idea to go hog "exploring" between Houston and Austin. Awesome review of it man, i think my next one will be a traditional AR style platform. LOL On second thought LOL ( viewing minute 7:05) maybe I didnt test mine enough
