I had some of those sterling slugs i haven't used them except for target shooting but the work well also the powder they load them with smells like cat shit when it burns that is my only complaint about them
My bullpup 12 Gauge is what sparked my interest in starting to hog hunt hopefully soon. Im pretty sure that one day out there like this and id be online trying to buy a drum before I even made it home lol.
Hey buddy i just commented this in a older video but wanted to make sure u saw it. I been watching a good amount of these thermal hog hunting videos and have noticed a specific heat signature for the females that are full of piglets maybe. Most of the hogs in a red heat thermal will simply show a red line across the bacon or brisket of the pig big small they all have that line but when u have a pregnant sow in your sights theres a giant red circle right infront of her hams from the bottom of her belly to the top of her back directly where she would be holding a womb full of piglets. I havent seen u cut them open afterward to kno for sure but it was a big female with hanging milkers but u can look back in your videos and maybe u can pull some out your memory banks while reviewing some of your videos on the ones u got how they appeared prior and if they ended up being pregnant or not. Its real noticable with your high end thermals but its mostly visible with that red or purple filter on. Just thought id share I wouldnt not shoot a male if hes the only one but i would def be looking more close at your videos. If u find out what im saying has some truth to it while looking back can u let me know? I really feel like im on to something there. Thanks for the videos might help dropping the polpulation if people can start telling a pregnant sow from a male or one not about to drop babies. I say shoot them all but for the start when u actually are targeting before u shoot take your highest percentage shots at the ones most likely to drop a liter in the next 3 months. Ifbu can tell a difference maybe it just seems that way to me but i noticed it multiple times from big dead sows

#6 is what I use for those but left it all at the truck limited ammo on the bike. Maybe I’ll start wearing a bandolier with #6 😂🤣😅
