Hoenn gen gets overlooked in a lot of ways but at least it consistently had some of the best theme tracks
I agree wit most of this, BUT Jotho Journeys is my absolute favorite

Gotta say I really appreciate your style of commentary, I hope that if ya do more videos in the style of the tournament that you at least occasionally comment on the matches at the end, because you have that very fun yet dry style, guess it fits given your channel name lol
Oof, Johto Journeys...
It's a good theme, but it lacks the coolness factor.
My Top 3:
1. Advanced Battle
- I was literally browsing through Pokémon episodes on demand when I was a kid, and the Advanced Battle episodes were on there. Every time I heard it, it made me so pumped up and in love with the show.
2. Galactic Battles
- Just a relaxing yet awesome song that foreshadows one of the best evil team arcs on the anime.
3. B&W: Adventures In Unova (And Beyond)
- My first ever Pokémon episode was “The Pirates Of Decolore”, so it’s the most nostalgic song for me.
On almost every tier list advanced battle really is unbeatable

Season 8 is also my favorite.

people completely miss the point of the XY opening. It's short and more to the point because let's face it, at this day and age kids just want to get on with the show.

Too be fair I don't know many past the first XY opening due to that being when I started watching the anime in Japanesez but I have gone back and revisited some of the new ones and too me the journey's openings don't hit as hard as the Japanese counterpart

I know this sounds like a generic opinion, but the original is the best. It sounds like an oath a trainer would take before going on their journey
