It is a good card but it's price should be nearly half the price of a gtx 1050. There is nothing like a bad chip, there is bad pricing.
By my own experience, the best way to play on a gt 1030 is on 900p, you can run almost anything
Completely true, on a 1080p monitor 900p for this card, on a 768p monitor use the native resolution.

@@dhrubajyotiroy4508 With the GT 1030? maybe, not entirely sure but possible. Anyway i dont think you will notice much diference between mid and high settings on a resolution of 720p. And if you have a 768p monitor i whould use native resolution there there is almost 0 diference on performance impact between those two resolutions. And even if you have a 1080p monitor i whould prefer resolution over settings i really think that still what make a game look good is the texture resolution, shadows and a few post fx. Anyway i will not tell you how to play your games U_U or whatever so... you will see son enough.
I‘m always amazed about how hardware friendly GTA V is. It‘s very well optimized.

@Noob Gaming Nepal GTX 750TI is cheaper and better with almost the same power draw. If you still decide to buy a 1030, just buy the cheapest one BUT make sure it has GDDR5 memory and not GDDR4, because GDDR4 has half the performance of the GDDR5 version
