What I like about this channel is everyone is doing clean starts, no one jumping. There should always be a third guy calling the start like shown here, when one driver does it he's always at the advantage cause his foot is moving with "3!" lol

As a fellow c63 AMG owner I had to support this guy. Our whole AMG team sat here and watched him 3 times. That was one dam good race. As an Mercedes owner and a car fan that c63 has no chance versus the moded M5 and the rs3 ... These C63 Amg are slow as fuck for the mods and the money put into them. Sorry this is the reality. The only fast mercedes on this channel is the Cls63... Every other Amg here is total embarrassment. Compared to their rivals from the other brands is just pathetic.

@@joanderson4568 I dont think the newer Amgs are that good as older ones. E55 w21 C63 W204 ... NA engine basic ... Tune with weistec supercharger ... After that biturbo engine... After those models its amg downfall. But, yes its just my opinion.

I am not a fun boy for American cars but that gt500 is pretty strong, especially that it is stock.
The carbon fiber package makes a huge difference. We have a regular gt500 and a carbon fiber edition and the carbon fiber one beats the regular one by almost 2 cars.

Great race. Both cars did very well. Keep in mind the GT500 in its CFTP mode is a track racer. The wing AND the side wickers are actually hurting the car in a drag race. Some may not think so, but at speed that extra drag does hurt. Never the less, great race.
Also keep in mind the C63 trans was slipping on all races.

@@chefboyarb If you owned that trans you would know when it slipping, it was most certainly slipping on every pass. It just let go on the last pass.
The GT500 big wing has 550lbs of downforce which creates aero drag. Carbon fiber package is almost 150lbs lighter than the standard shelby GT500 tho.
@@S.Madman So Mercedes is broken during that race. No one take broken car to a race. Befor 2000 year Mercedes had rust problem, after 2000 not really a rust problem but engines and transmission are unreliable

I'm looking to get some mods done to my car and don't know where to start. What's the best way to find a reputable shop and where would you start in the modding process? Which upgrades first etc.
Glad you like the channel! Thanks for commenting too. As for Mods, always exhaust intake, tune are basic starts. It is better to have an upgraded intake with a closed airbox or atleast some heatshield to prevent heatsoak. As for finding best shops you'll have to research online through forums and Google reviews for the general area you are located and see what people say about the shops. Hope that helps

Those were some really good and even races. I know the Mustang owners heart is scarred from the Merc keeping up with him and even slightly taking him on the second race.
Considering that the mustang owner has a warranty still, his heart may be scarred but his brain is doing just fine 🤣
Not really…I think he’s probably pretty damn proud of his Shelby…it’s bone stock. All he needs is a smaller upper pully and he’s got another 125 hp.

The Benz are slow without turbo upgrades lol so they get up to speed finally with better turbos/ cooling
@@MikeyG003 this isn’t a comparison.. GT500 should compete with bigger boys E63 S, AMG GTR, Pro, Black Series and so on. Of course Mercedes costs more but we’re not competing who has the cheapest horse power here…

@@MikeyG003 beat E63 S yes on a roll but not black series… Black Series is much lighter and about similar HP and Germans love to underrate their horse power. No way GT500 will beat Black Series. I’m too lazy to find the numbers like 100-200KM but it’s just not necessary. I want to buy e63 S and with a Rennetech tune it’s over 750hp. And that will either beat GT500 or hang with it.

My buddy was like help me sell one and they were asking 700k+ lmao. E63s are pretty sick and should be good with the renntech tune. Just make sure you upgrade the cooling and flash tranny

My Labworx cls 63 sAMG broke many hearts, great cars, I had to do plenty to my ZL1 1le to keep up with my big fat Benz.
Having dealt with a few 4.0TT C63S models/2016-19. I wont do another 4.0 twin turbo merc. I'll go back to the 5.5TT.

I'm just wondering how in one of your other videos you had a c63s race a 2021 gt500 with intake and the c63s had intake downpipe and e30 tune and it was somehow faster than this c63s that has upgraded turbo and more mods, am I missing something?

Its an older AMG with a 5.5L and the C63S is lower HP version of that compared to the E63S, and its a 4 door sedan going against a dedicated muscle car. Considering all that it makes sense, impressive it kept up to be honest. Lesson is you need to upgrade the transmission if you plan to push that much power on an AMG.

According to fastestlaps the M5cs would win but idk I'm skeptical. The 500 is running alot of power, it'll be a great race!

GT500 best is = 6.0. Gt500 also traps about 2-3 mph more in the 1/4 in the same conditions
From a dig my money's on the CS but from a roll I think the gt500 might edge it out..

Great race. The problem with supercharged cars is the parasitic drag and heat soak. Turbo's are more efficient when set up properly. Love the GT500 though.
