Mardin

Mardin old town has a medieval history and a nice atmosphere. It also offers great vistas over the green plain. We enjoyed wandering around old town. The weather was not always kind. Nonetheless, the simple park-up/campsite at the bottom of old town allowed us to get our laundry done and stock up on water. We met two local students English (Hilal and Hira) who kindly showed us around which was really nice.
