@@DaleySpam I’m coming from the east to mammoth this weekend and I’m looking to hit up kiwi flats and balls to the wall, any advice for how to hit them?
@@jgames1364 Nice dude, have fun! All I can really say is that those runs both require A LOT of snow to fill in. Mammoth looks like it is filling in nicely, so I can’t say whether or not either is doable yet, but definitely scout them out first. Kiwi has a little traverse off to the skier’s left that allows you to avoid having to straightline in, which may be the better option at the moment. Definitely check in if you do either, I am hoping to get to them both this season as well!
@@trentadler516 might have to send kiwi anyways, I’m a east coast skier so I never go out west but I’ve always wanted to check it out, any other lines that could be skiable right now similar to kiwi?
Snow was a few days old and a bit crusty in spots, but it has been a couple years since I have skied this awesome line!
Awesome! I wanted to hit that when I was up there (take the right line when you went left), but it was closed.
Ah bummer. Yeah, they can be slow to open that whole area.
did the option to the right. Very bumpy and scary
Nice! Yeah its a fun area
Is this that pretty obvious chute skiers left of wolverine bowl, thats really easy to spot from the summit lift?
Yeah, short hike up above Wolverine Bowl
Have you gone to mammoth yet this season?
Not yet, hoping to in a few weeks!

@@jgames1364 balls and kiwi are not nearly close to skiable yet. Need 8 - 10 ft more of snow I would say unless you wanna get really sketchy
