Thank you for the plus side. I'm 265 and a overweight cop. You seem like a good dude and I hope the best for you brother. Remember to fight the temptation, be an asset and never a liability to your brothers around you. Stay safe and fight the good fight 👮🏻♂️ PS: Molle vests are extremely affective and help small guys get their shit on.
Wear I live a couple years ago maybe 8 cops were arrested for rape, taking bribes etc. Besides major city police are not much more then a way cities to make money. My eyes are open.
Jacob Roy I respect what you're saying completely, don't take it as I don't. I offer you a challenge, I'll explain why first. All officers are trained to twist the rights out from under people. (Bad thing is, most don't know what their rights are.) They are trained to lie about circumstances and about the law. (They can lie about the law.) I offer you a challenge to comply with all orders and still hold tight to your rights. Film police in public, yet comply with an officer's order to move along. Refuse to show ID (providing the laws in your state is not a stop and ID state) while complying with an unlawful order to show ID. Legally carry a firearm openly and refuse ID when asked. Refuse to give up your weapon when ordered to inspect it (again, within open carry laws). Refuse a search of your vehicle while an officer says "You don't have anything to hide, so you don't mind me searching your car, right?" Stand on your right to remain silent, as they tell you "That only applies if you're arrested."
Hit the gym and stop being a fat ass! What if you're on patrol and you get into a foot pursuit and you can't keep up with a suspect?? Lose weight and don't be a liability to your team
@Mongoose 1980 Let me guess you're fat as well? Sumos are athletes who train day in and day out, but to justify someone being fat and out of shape in law enforcement is a disgrace to the badge. I would say 80% of the people I work with look down on "fat" cops cause they are a liability, not an asset. Who wants a fat ass as a partner?? Stfu you fat fuck and hit the gym! Put down your honey bun, all your oily foods and get some healthy eating started!
@Mongoose 1980 How much do you weigh fat ass? You know nothing about me but assume you'll beat me in everything? LOL you're a joke! Lose some weight before you step to me fatty. I got a 6 pack what do you have? A gut? LOL
@Mongoose 1980 You're defending officers who are fat and out of shape so yes I'm assuming you're fat but you're the idiot challenging me to "wrestle" and saying you can "outrun" me! LOL I have 11 years doing no-gi Jiu-Jitsu and 5 of those years with a gi. I hold a brown belt working on black. I have 12 years of boxing and Muay Thai and 4 years of coaching wrestling. I'm 6'3 204lbs and run on a daily basis considering I need to be in shape for work. Now, how about yourself?
@Mongoose 1980 There you go assuming again. All I'm saying is if you're overweight hit the gym because at the end of the day you live longer when your body isn't working overtime. Living a healthier more active life literally will add years to your life. If you call that bullying then I don't know what to tell you. In my youth, I was fat, out of shape, and ate like a pig and it sucked when people made fun of me but I used that energy to transform my image. In law enforcement, you cannot be a liability to your team and I've personally seen bodycam footage of officers who were overweight who'd most likely still be alive if they weren't out of shape and had a huge gut. I had a friend back in 2005 that was killed because he chased a suspect and the suspect ended up gaining enough distance to confuse my friend and he literally ambushed him and killed him. I love him but he was overweight and didn't take his health or his training seriously enough, and he may have still been alive if he had. Take care, mongoose
I bought a LEO duty belt a few months back at local pawn shop. It came with some accessories but the firearm holster, additional handcuff storage, cuf key strap. Its the basket weave design type of duty belt. Pretty decent for preowned. Any LEOs reading this have a preference for duty belt and handcuff design/brand?
Great video! especially being new to a department, gave me some insight on what might be comfortable to me. I also couldn't help but notice your watch, what's the model? Hope your surgery went great!
+Robert Reyome that watch is a Casio Pathfinder Solar. I have had it for about 10 years and it has been a work horse. I have upgrade to the Garmin Fenix 3hr and that has been awesome as well.
Everyday Dad that's awesome can't beat a watch that's held up that long, another great video posted the other day as well... or maybe it's new to me I'm not sure I just started following your channel. Either way keep up the good work and stay safe out there! Also, hope everything went well with the surgery!
Thanks, the surgery went great, I am down over 70 lbs. That's a child!!!! Thanks for watching, I just uploaded a new video on my Ring Doorbell Check it out!!
Hi I work as armed security and I have majority of the things you have on your duty belt and I also am a big guy so my question is how does everything not dig into your stomach I'm still learning what's best for me in my orientation of my duty belt so thank you and thank you for your service
Thanks for your services. Curious when you mentioned you don't need a first aid kit on your person since you're currently sitting at a desk. If you're at a desk, why do you need any of this? I would think it would be pretty uncomfortable to sit with it all if not needed. Obviously officers have to sit in their cars too, but clearly they need everything then.
+KMT15 although I am at a desk most of the day I still respond to any emergency call near me. Also most people do not realize that most Headquarters are mostly staffed with civilians. So I try to carry any thing I may need to protect myself and others. And yes it blows sitting at a desk wearing a full duty uniform.
Everyday Dad On the job myself, thinking of surgery also, how long were you out/on light duty. You know is cops worried about missing it for to long. Glad it went well.
A new wrinkle has been added in some states. An officer attends a 2 week drug interdiction class (mostly drinking coffee and eating donuts at the taxpayers expense) the officer becomes an expert on drug recognition. No dogs, no field testing, no blood draws or none of that outdated crap. The officer uses his new gained skills to arrest anyone he suspects of being "on" drugs. All based on his experience, gut feeling, training and straight out BS. The person arrested has to pay for their own drug testing, all the while being held against their will in a cold dank cell. The officers then add more charges, charge stacking. Because they are under arrest no drug test can be administered. When they do get the charges from the DA, a court appointed lackey lawyer "assists" them in begging for a deal. They pay a fine, is bailed out and then seek to address their situation, only to find out that by taking a plea they admitted to guilty. A de facto, uninformed decision to get out of jail. Their true crime, being born. Have a safe Memorial day.

KMT15 he still is probably required to look the part even though he might not be out in the field as much
👍
I Lost weight which is good but the downside for sure less room on belt.. and having to adjust my duty belt.
I went from a 54 in that video to a 40 now. I can barely get everything on my belt now!!
Everyday Dad

I was out for a four day weekend then did 2 weeks light duty. Just got a new duty belt yesterday. 42!!
No offense but you used to be a big guy, holy moly. Also good video.
Yes I was!!
I thought it was because you don't need to wear plates

Dont do drugs or hang around people that do and you wont get busted
Oh yeah and dont act like a douche bag when you talking to cops it goes a long way being respectful.
