Tonight's video is a short clip of my recent purchase MERCEDES ATEGO 13.5 ton with the SLA bed, I was driving with a HUGE chevy collardo on the back, bare in mind, I was already over half way of the journey, and on the flat road and all of a sudden I heard this HUGE BANG!
First thoughts its a tyre blow out, but upon swerving off the motorway in the emergency situation I got underneath and saw it blew a bag!
Very annoying but hey could of been worse, but yes it could not of been a hotter day!!
At the end of the day, it is what it is!

First thing you need when you rely on an old truck for your livelihood.... a spare old truck. Still makes more sense than having a new one, and less stuff that you can't fix yourself! 👍
Peace of mind,I d change both bags Greg,bit like headlight bulbs,change one,the others bound to go not long after. English engineering to the rescue! Stay safe and keep busy!!

That is a receiver hitch, Simple pull the R clip out then the horizontal pin and the whole lot comes out. You could even put it back in upside down if you felt that way. Apart from the occasional rattle they're a far superior thing than we had inflicted upon us by the bureaucrats at brussels. Can't be too bad as the Aussies use them and if anyone knows how to abuse something to destruction it is those guys.

That's a pretty janky tow hitch setup 😂 why'd they bolt the towball to a pintle plate rather than just get a tow ball that slides in the receiver?
