Crazy how many times PSA gives mint cards a 6. I swear they just have fat fingers when typing in the grade lol.

My base Zard got a 2 with slight whitening and some Holo scratch lol, I feel PSA rushed due to the volume of submissions. Very sloppy on their part.

a lot of full art cards have been getting downgraded to 6/7s due to bubbling on the surface of the texture. It was a very common printing defect with the reprint of hidden fates

Sick video and happy to see those returns being 8-10, but that charizard should be at least an 8.
There have been a few mistakes from psa with the shiny charizard v as well, cards got a 5/6 instead of a 9/10.
You should look more into that.

PSA is super harsh, really hard to get 10s especially on vintage cards. Wish PSA added to the label that these cards were from the Logan opening, it would make them even rarer. Had a lot of fun seeing the returns, awesome vid!

I wouldn't be surprised that you see 9s selling for $500 and 10s selling for $80 and all over the place. It's very common on eBay that an item is listed at a very random time... and I've gotten some crazy good deal simply because no one is awake at the time an auction ends. Or, an item is listed as BUY IT NOW instead of auction, and you swoop on it before the seller corrects it. Has happened a few times. You just gotta stay vigilant and keep looking for deals!

And that zard is exactly why I only use BGS and not PSA lol. The 6 on the zard that doesnt deserve it and the 9 on pika for that. Feels like they dont even look at the card for more than 2 seconds or they just assign a random grade at this point

check the top edge of the charizard. i had a similar one where the entire card had no visible flaws, but the top edge had this curve to it? so it gets the 6 which is the highest a "damaged" card will get.
Damn that Charizard looks like it should be rated way higher than that! It's put me off wanting to submit any of my full art cards to PSA now.Would be nice to hear the reasoning behind the score and interesting to see that Charizard removed from it's casing, resubmitted and see if the return score is different.

I have a binder of 1st edition Neo Gen. I know they are pack fresh as I opened them and stored them over a decade ago. These pack fresh cards getting 6-8s is mental. Puts me off submitting. So many examples of under grades (and some over grades) inconsistencies.
I think PSA should put on a printed sheet the sub scores so you at least know. I know Beckett's tougher but at least you get the sub scores. That 6 did not look like a 6 but how could you ever know why?

PSA Submissions are the best but they take so long

Psa is just pumping 1000’s of submissions a day. They spend no longer than 30 seconds per card so they’re bound to mess up! It sucks nowadays.
