- For this video I upcycled a thrifted foam pumpkin using Sweet Pickins Milk Paint and some Redesign with Prima Transfers, and I played around with some wood pumpkins I found at Dollar Tree.

Hey Rachel! I think each of your DIYs and the flip turned out fantastic! Yep, the Froggy Bottom looks just wonderful on the table. I have to tell you that when you ran inside to get away from the yellow jacket, the sander seemed to be freaking out that you left outside with that scary bug. LOL I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Glad it didn't sting you but that sander just had me in stitches. I am finally healed enough to be able to comment again. Have to tell you that when we were at the hospital for the surgery, we both caught covid. It appears to be long covid because today is 14 days and we still haven't improved. Dang it. Anyway, thanks for the beautiful items you created on this video. Hope you have a really good week, don't work too hard on your house. Yeah, right huh? 😷 (there is a smile behind there)

I'm loving all the pumpkins and seeing different styles. The table is so beautiful . Green is such a calm color to me. You do great layering all the transfers.
I don't like bees either. We battled wasps and bought every product on the market to remove them. They always came back. My son would get stung every time he came to mow. He researched and found the easiest way to get rid of them. He used dawn detergent and water in a sprayer. That worked. .I felt bad for laughing when you tossed the sander. I would have done it too.
What else can we seal milk paint with?
I usually don't have such an issue with yellow jackets, but they seem to be particularly aggressive this year for some reason. I will have to try the dawn trick - thanks for that! And I added the bit with the sander thrashing on the ground for some comic relief, so I'm glad it made you laugh - I laughed, too when I went back and watched the footage, haha! Glad you liked the pumpkins and my table - thank you so much!! And you can seal milk paint with pretty much anything. I have used DIY waxes as well as General Finishes top coat - I'm sure you could use Liquid Patina, Big top, Poly . . . the choices are pretty endless. :)
