Garage54 is the Russian Onstar... That's how they get all the beaten up cars... You can really see all of them have had a few crashes as one or both headlights are missing, not to mention all the visible dents.
Those wheels look a lot like the ones used on VW Beetles from the 70's. There are other Ladas that use the circular holes pattern that look like the rims from the VW Kombi from the 70s as well. I've always wondered if the same manufactured made the wheels for both ladas and VWs
They are also very similar to steel wheels used on 60's Volvos - later Amazons and early 140 series. I have also seen similar ones on Porsches, did VW share wheels with Porsche?
@@lobmin well... The wide 5 lug pattern they did share, but not exactly the same rim design. Porsches had vent holes, while VWs had the typical slots between the face of the wheel and the rim. Aome later VWs had vent holes with the wide 5 lug pattern, but were very different from those of Porsche
I love your channel guys, I have a suggestion: Fill the interior of a larger car with flammable gas and ignite it. Make sure to do this outside of the city and with a long-distance safe zone. We all know it will go boom but, I want to see the damage and the size of the blast zone.
id agree. commercial vehicle rated tyres. no regular passenger cars have a 75 profile section. they drop from 80 to 70 in regular car sizes, but van/commercial tyres DO have a75 profile option
Wow very shocked i didnt think that is my problem shocked but obviously the tyre was slightly defective there but that was very learned cool and unbelievable how big are the charges
Suggestion: I'm wondering how much you can improve an off-roading vehicle stability by adding a very heavy medium inside the tires to lower the center of gravity. (while keeping tire flexibility) ex: Sand+ water, mercury, One way to test would be to see how much of an incline it can go before and after before it rolls over.
Most airbags have a small cylinder where the wiring connects that released the gas to inflate the fabric bag. For an enclosed space like a tire, the airbags could be disassembled, and several of the inflaters would occupy the same space as one entire airbag.
My dad(rip) was a insurance adjuster. His job back in the 80's was to show up at crash sites to take pictures and notes of the the accidents. One time he was a at a crash site, it was a Dodge Lancer, head on collision. The cars air bag did not deploy during the crash. Here's where it gets crazy.. after they extracted the driver from the car a police man was writing some kinda report using the surface area of the air bag to write on. At some point the air bag spontaneously (not sure if that's the correct word) went off and blew the pen the police man was using to write with into his neck killing him.
Do the independent brakes - 4 master cylinders connected to a joystick in an X layout and the master cylinders separately connected each to a respective wheel. Drive, and use the joystick to activate each brake independently to steer. (or use 4 brake pedals?) Also, hook up the throttle to the steering wheel.
Heres one for you you. Take one of your Laddes and take the body completely off the chassis and turn it around so that when you're driving it looks like your going backwards... Just a thought... Cheers from Sterling Heights Michigan USA..,👍
Try to make a lada do wheelie by building huge spoiler to rear with long leverage and controllable deflective control surface . Drive it with maximum speed and deflect the control surface to create downforce and try to lift front wheels. Engine to the rear and try to make front end as light as possible. With massive size control surface and enough lever I think it might be possible :D
I saw the video you made where you did a lot of mufflers on a car, now put as many catalytic converters as you can on an exhaust system. Or do something using a turbo charger? See how fast you can get one to spool using compressed air?😀
The 15 looks to be an 8 ply commercial construction while the 13 was just a standard car/light vehicle tyre so it will take probably take double the psi without blowing, as for the airbags the chemical reaction in them is self oxidising and very controlled so the large bags charges sould release more gas regardless of them rolling out or not. Think the lack of boom was just due to construction. You could get one of the model rocket guys to make you some charges that will do similar but make a whole lot more gas ;)
I had an escape slide / raft from a Boeing 727 deploy in the living room accidentally, and it destroyed three tables and four lamps. Never underestimate the power of something 'soft' inflating rapidly. It can kill you easily.
Ground the airbag on the inside of the wheel, solder the hot wire on the inside of the valve stem. Then you can air the tire up to 100psi and clip 1 lead on the calve stem and the other on the wheel.
If you just took the charges out of the airbags, mount them to the wheel, have an airtight way of wiring.. then you have a device for instant tyre reinflate if you get a flat.... Maybe have some tyre sealant in the charge,. Get a flat tire press the button instant fix
In the next episode... "We put 50 airbags under this here Lada. We want to see how high they can make a car jump into the air!"

Make a electric-Lada using only startermotors attached to the gearbox!! TESLADA!!!
This was kind of a Goldilocks story: not enough, too much, just right.
Why do I keep.on.think this is sone kind of comedy channel?

The volga tire might be C-classed. Not uncommon for those dimensions back in the day. Thats probably why it stayed together despite the age cracks.

4 curtain airbags in 14 in aluminum rim and tire combo also make sure you voltage is higher and then stand way back cause the car will jump
