What did you make of Mark and Lisa's home before the makeover? ✨
PLEASE, PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE!!! Let us see more of the people walking through and their reactions to ALL of your renovations. That's actually the best part!
4 bedrooms and 1 bath would be tough for a family.
I find it bothersome that the videos cut off at the end just a couple minutes too early. I love watching but I would like to see the end. 🙂
Much needed improvement! That was an oppressive dark creepy house before, and now much more inviting and really shows off the architectural details. The foreplace mantel is still horrible and would be the first to go however.
I love this house as it is and I would have no problem buying it if I was going to move to that area, which is a pity that it has to be changed. If it was in Oxford, UK, there would be plenty of folks wanting it.
I am so glad they kept the cherub fireplace and I actually liked the venetian walls, yet just another color.
The owner has a great style! I don't like completely all antiques, but I definitely like his style more than the modern (but I understand that buyers like modern more: when we had some major rennovations we had a beautiful wooden old wardrobe (it wasn't even especially ornate) for sale, but nobody wanted it even for free. On the other hand, generic cheap modern furniture made of plywood we sold for 80 percent of original price). He had collected a beautiful collection of decoration and furniture, I hope he used them in his new house...
While it might not be everyones style, the upgrades are boring - its a pity that is what sells
I feel that they only really improved the kitchen.
I agree. I would have bought that house as it was, hands down. I hate contemporary, no character, and to me, the word "neutral" is just code for "lifeless." Too bad that lifeless/boring is what sells.
After the make-overs the houses look so similar. Difficult for a creative person. Liked the library the most & the tin ceiling
My house. My house. My house. That's why it hasn't sold.
Rosemary's Baby comes to mind 😉
It looks better but it only has one bathroom. Big house for only one bathroom.
That was not venetian plaster. I looked it up
He didn’t get his mouth shut, because he is so exited about his Lord of ring castle and don’t expect criticism.
Why not ask Hollywood to buy?
The fireplace was still a big no no
Why are these people so clueless when the least they can do is watch a few programs of Sophie and learn from her.
Make it look ugly, tasteless, and plain; and buyers will be lining up haha
Watching this in 2024 and guess what? After painting in all these whites and light colors for a decade now the designers say we need deep darker colors. Ha ha
Hopefully someone bought that house that guy needs a new shirt how baggy saggy and ugly
