In this video we go over the best performer to kick off 2024 - the Wade All City 12:
Cushion with full-length BOOM remains to be one of the best parts about this line. The midsole is responsive, comfortable and not too stiff even with the TPU carrier/caging. Great court feel, and smooth transition. Traction performance was also excellent from my experience, I had a strong grip on both clean and dusty courts, and they should be durable enough for outdoor use. With the fit, please make sure to go up a half size as this model became tighter and more snug like the All City 11 V2. Stability and support are also adequate - the extensive outrigger piece is still there to help with containment and your lateral movements. After becoming even lighter and more secure, the All City 12 is my early pick for the top performer this year.

I loooooooove these, the fit is perfect for me, no pinching since 1st wear ( but my nephew felt a bit on the front where the plastic piece placed, but I'm not)
The cushion is good, not too much not too view, the court field is there but not on sabrina level but better impact protection, bit bounce and responsive, a perfect combination IMO.
The traction, I guest in a top tear level, that's it. Never felt need to wipe since first play.
These shoe is a perfect mix of everything, not too much but nothing less.

@@zetaswhyos1344 traction is great in clean or dusty courts, you don’t have to wipe to often base on my experience but I hoop only mine ones indoor and I got my other pair of all city 12 dna and I love hooping them outdoors they have very durable outsole.

Umm that’s tough… Again maybe some recency bias but the All City 12 is almost a perfect shoe, if you’d like something that’s easier to maintain (the LeBron’s upper can crease/get dirty very easily) then All City’s. But the major aspects like traction & cushion, these two are both amazing and worth your money imo.
You need to rotate 2 pairs of shoes, my brother.

@@TommyLiu4 pretty good... I played on a really dusty court used by a lot of people so I don't think I can give a fair evaluation yet. But so far, I can tell it has an amazing cushion! Going to play with them again

To me yeah but they’re very different shoes it really comes down to your preference. These are the Top 2 from all the recent releases to me.

However, i do have a concern and a question. What do you mean by half size up, as they don't have 45.5 , shoe jumps from 45-46. So i hope 45 will fit me, 46 seemed too big. I guess this is the challenge from ordering online..

Hey. I usually go with the insoles they come with, but sometimes I use Move insoles to help with shoes that I have some problems with.

They have the same fit. Pretty tight and snug, so half size up is needed especially since you have wide feet.

@@merpleyose2195 Umm it should be okay but I personally won’t recommend it especially if you can’t return/exchange if it doesn’t work out cause half size up was almost necessary on the WOW 10 for me.

Thanx for review! I have a wide foot and short toes. Previously, I got the first Son of Flash in half a size larger, but it was narrow in the front of the foot and empty in the toe box when worn =/

Nope you’ll be fine. For wide feet especially, half size is definitely needed.

Snug yes, pinching no - half size up is a must.
Kinda weird that secondary line surpass main line. I mean we've already got AC12 while WOW is stuck on 10th model. I wonder what happened, maybe now they gonna release new WOW models every two years?

I wanted to ask a question about sizing. I am going to buy the All City 12, and I am currently in doubt.
It seems like I have a similar foot size to you (10.5 US); my feet length is 27.4 cm, but I am not sure if my feet are wide enough to go half a size up for the AC12.
For reference, I have the Zoom Freak 4 in size 10.5 US. I experience a bit of heel slippage on my right foot (since my right foot is a bit shorter than my left), but I am fine with that. Size 10 US for the Zoom Freak 4 felt too snug for me.
I have read some text reviews, and it’s said you can go TTS unless you have very wide feet, so now I am really confused.
I would appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance!

Hey, I wanted to leave some feedback after purchasing and having a few sessions in these shoes.
First of all, for those who are in doubt about sizing - I would really recommend following Tommy’s advice about sizing up by half a size. My AC 12 in size 11 US felt way snugger than my Freak 4 in 10.5 US.
Performance-wise, they have been good so far. Every session has been outdoors, btw.
The only problems I had were pinky toe pinching during hard/quick stops and needing to re-tie the laces to maintain good lockdown (this might be an issue with the new Aurora colorway, nothing serious).
For now, I play with tape on my pinky toes to counter the pinching. Let's see if I can break them in.
If anyone has had a similar experience, let me know how it went. I would appreciate it.

I normally wear a size 10.5, and I went with a size 11 for these - as mentioned, go half size up.

Nice, you picked the bounciest shoes from my experience lol. Most bounce if I have to pick one I felt like the Fission 8 was just super bouncy, best overall = All City 12.

Yes and yes. Very narrow feet you can stay true to size, but for most people I do think half size up is safer. Traction is on par with the Dame Certified.

I have a question hope you can answer. I have all city 11v2 at size 13 and it felt snug. Would it be okay to purchase a size 15 of this all city 12? I have wide feet as well. I also use orthotic insoles that makes the shoes tighter so I was wondering if size 15 would be the best option
I don’t think jumping up 2 sizes is a good idea. These have about the same fit/snugness as the 11 V2. One size up at most in my opinion

Tbh they’re right about the same level - yes I needed a little bit of break in with the 11 on dust too but overall still great traction and excellent grip.

Hey. It honestly just comes down to your specific needs - since you have wide feet the 808 3 regular will have a better fit. However the All City 12 has better cushion and impact protection, just fits tighter and more snug. You can decided based on whichever one sounds more ideal for you I guess 😃

Would using an orthotic insole like Move Game day insoles ruin the overall feel and structure of the shoe or would it compliment and improve it?
I personally don’t like Move insoles on the All City’s, ruins the court feel for me. They can be a game-changer on a lot of other shoes though.

just got mine in and found the traction quite slippery on a rubber court. Idk if i need to play in it more to break it in... there was mild to little amount of dust.
Yeah the past two All City’s have been both average against dust in the beginning, but this still grips much better than the 11 from my experience. They will get better over time though.

Oh really. I had the opposite experience actually: my silver pair grips much better against dust than the pink pair… And it was more squeaky too, I mean could be a variety of factors here - the specific court condition etc. Still an amazing shoe imo it should get better over time if anything.
