The H0 gauge (1:87) model railway "Bahnbetriebswerk Belgard" in epoch II (Reichsbahn) represents the BW of the same name in Hinterpommern around 1930. The size of the model railway is 5.00 x 1.00 meters. Another part of the system is covered as a shadow station.
Many details bring the period between the two world wars to life. Especially fans of old steam locomotives get their money's worth here. The 12-permanent locomotive shed and many of the buildings in the depot also have a detailed interior.
You can find many pictures and the track plan for this model railway system on the website www.modellbahn-... /. Also worth seeing are the fully functional coal and water cranes, the latter operated with real water.
The original was in Western Pomerania on the railway line between Stettin and Danzig. The builder of this model railway system is Maciej Lukaszewicz from Poznan.
