The irony of this gun taking Glock sights is that the sights that come with the G3C are nicer than the ones that come on Glocks that cost twice as much
I have a great video check it out too!
You videos are so refreshing. They don't come from a "Tacticool" perspective, they are for the common man (and woman). Keep up the amazing work.

We sell the G2C for 220 and the G3C for 240. Honestly, it would appear all the upgrades from the G2C to G3C were free since they include a third mag, which typically runs 25 bucks.
I paid $319 for mine and couldn’t find it for under $300 anywhere. I’m not the only one that paid this much, others have paid more. They’re harder to find.
@@reggieburris I would avoid anything more because 320 would be MSRP, and guns are usually sold significantly less than MSRP.
Two local gun shops have tons of these G3c's at $259. The coating is more durable, supposedly, but looks cheaper...odd.
@@lazvt8469 I really don't understand what anyone says about the finish. The PT111 Millennium G2, G2C, and G3C all look identical when it comes to finish.
@@Megames2012 the finish on my g2s is not very durable. I'm actually going to take it all off and duracoat it eventually.
To OP they did drop the loaded chamber indicator from the 2 to 3 which in my opinion was a step backwards.
"My g2c is all beat up because I use it."
Bamn. You just dunked on more than half of the tacticool community. Nice job👌
Hello, I'm from Brazil, and here in Brazil, an average worker, needs to work for 5, or 6 months, and without spending a penny of salary, to be able to pay for the purchase of G2c, which in which, here in my country, it is extremely expensive !!!!

I like the addition of slide serrations, removing the loaded chamber indicator, and the ability to use glock sights is genius.
The Taurus pages for the G2c and G3c currently say these BOTH have loaded chamber indicators. I presume we're talking about a slightly protruding tactile nub integral on the external extractor?
Separate question (apart from these Taurus pistols specifically), which I really want somebody to give a straight answer to for once: Why in the hell would anybody ever be opposed to having a loaded chamber indicator? I remember innumerable comments griping bitterly about the overtly tactile protruding tag-indicator on the top of the Ruger SR9c, which design I thought was the best idea ever for low-light chamber checks (without having to press-check or actually try to look at anything in the dark). If it's not physically impeding anything... why the opposition to chamber indicators? WTH is the problem? How can it be anything but a benefit? We're not talking about something like a magazine-disconnect safety here. There's literally no downside.
@@boatrat Nailed it.
@@boatrat the one I'm referring to is the top cut Loaded Chanmber indicator, it is on the g2c but not the G3C. Those kind of California bullshit safety feature are for novices and it gets in the way of any potential optics cut.
@@boatrat I've heard of reliability issues with an extra moving part, but I've literally never seem a problem myself. Then there's the problem with the sights, but the one on my g2s is very low profile and I couldn't see it ever being a problem. Maybe it is on other guns though.

@@mchlcordell Nor mine, but it would be my first choice for a truck/car pistol.
We bought the G2C about 6 months ago.. My nephew had one and I loved it! We are about to purchase 2 more for our daughters to carry daily.
Also, for the other women out there with small hands.. This is perfect! It was the first feature that I liked and it’s why I took a harder look to see if I would want to purchase one. Plus, having protection for under $300 is within reach for all women!
My wife liked the G2C but she ended up getting a Springfield XD-E. She liked the DA/SA trigger and was a bit more accurate with the Springfield.
Boomerisadog I will check that one out when we take the girls shopping.. Thanks!
@@lovingmymcmahon3382 The XDE is a single stack so you only get 8 rounds with the flush fit mags and 9 with the extended ones. The one we got came with 3 9 round mags, 2 8 round mags, a range bag, gun lock, and a few other odds and ends for about $400. It was part of a gear up package Springfield offers. It's a great deal if you can find one. I think the G2C are a fantastic deal as well and they have a higher capacity. Really, their's tons of good choices out there right now, of you can find them in stock.
I like getting my daughters the same as I have...makes it easy to swap holsters and borrow magazines!(-:

Reviewers put far too much emphasis on the accuracy of sights. I say that because in real world situations, nobody uses them. Go look at any videos of cop shootings. They are not taking time to look down the sights. They point and shoot look at any self defense video on youtube. Nobody is taking time to look down sights.
Glock was designed to be a $200 pistol but the marketing team convinced the company to sell them for more to increase appeal.
Taurus is a big gun manufacturer with all the tooling to make reliable pistols. If they keep up their quality control, this pistol will serve one well.
True, Glock has no reason to be that expensive
@@tullo5564 The fact that S&W sold the SD9 series for years for $299 retail shows you that Glock is way overpriced at nearly $600.

I carried a S&W J frame for about 35 years until I went to the Springfield XD-Subcompact 9mm. I used it for about two years but it is heavy and I live in the deep south where it is hot year around and it limits carry options. In 2018 I went to the Taurus G2-C. I picked it up from Buds gun shop for $199.00 with two mags. I tried to make it fail by shooting every round of junk ammo I had and I only had two stoppages out of about 500 rounds at it was the ammo not the gun. I am a former police officer and range officer so I know guns and the Taurus G2-C I have I will bet my life on it working when needed.
@Deez Nuts Try the G3 or the G2-C it is half the cost of Springfield and Taurus has never supported gun control legislation like Springfield has. The Taurus has up grade options like a stainless steel follower and spring and trigger kits from Keep Tinkering I think it is. I only replaced the main spring and follower in mine but it works great in the factory configuration. Good luck with your pick.
@Deez Nuts You,er welcome I hope it helps. Taurus has more magazine with their guns also.
P.s. love the camera work,no wonder you have 400,000 subs!

Very happy with my G2c featured on my new channel for beginners. Adding you to my mentors playlist!
Thanks for the love! As a NewTuber I need all the support I can get. You have mine.
I bought a G3C today on a flash sale at Dunham's Sports. Bought it for $225 and it has a $25 rebate. My only disappointment was that it came with two magazines, not three. That wasn't obvious until the transaction was completed and they handed me the box. The box specifically said only two magazines included. Putting the information out there to manage expectations.
I was looking up the g3c for the first time just last night. Glad you did this review!
As usual Mrs. Outlaws videography is excellent, it really highlights your excellent grip and control regardless of the weapons system you are using.
Keep the reviews coming bro. Great review as always👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Very solid review. Got one on order and looking forward to some enjoyable range time. Thanks
Your channel is one of the best out there. Always loved your straight forward reviews
Picked one up for $250 new yesterday. It did extremely well in the first 200 rds. Can't beat the price to value. 3 12 rd mags included.
Even Taurus can put out guns with steel sights on a $270 gun but glock cant on $400+ guns ...
glock is becoming the Apple of firearms, you're paying mostly for the name, when companies like CZ, PSA, Taurus are putting out G19 clones at a fraction of the cost with more features out of the box, and in the case of the P10C, a much better trigger. not to say Glock isnt making a great gun, they are, but dollar for dollar there are better options out there.
Maybe cause they know we’re gonna change em anyway . But yea they should at least come with night sights or metal sights but that’s not even a factor tbh Glock is completely worth it ... don’t get why people complain about the sights so much
Stuck up glock, "ask for pricing" on sales. Never owned 1, never will.
Frank Bonazza III I’m a H&K guy but I just love the looks and simplistic nature of the Glock it’s not extra it just screams “ gun” . but so many people like them because maybe there a good gun? Just maybe? And unfortunately that comes with hate from people who want to hate it just to hate it . I’m not a Toyota stubble beard motherfucker but hey I’ll be whatever u want me to be . My gun goes bang if I need it to .
@s bright couldnt disagree with you more. the P07, the P-01, the P10 series, all phenomenal guns. the best direct comparison of Glock to a CZ is the P10C vs the Glock 19 gen5. the Glock will cost you, on average, 100-150$ more. out of the box, the CZ will have a better trigger, better ergonomics for both, better sights. CZ's quality control and overall quality of firearm is incredible in recent years and I'd buy one anyday over a stock glock. I say this carrying a G17 to work everyday, but its had about 400$ worth of upgrades to it that the previous owner installed. are glocks bad guns? absolutely not. but i wouldnt buy one stock with all the other options out there. and i'd put CZ among the best manufactures of handguns in the world.
Awesome video as always. I'm going to pick one of these up. Also, I see your Corn is almost ready to harvest. Nice👍
I got a spectrum .380 for my wife ended up loving it as a pocket pistol. Got a tx .22 so I can have fun shooting still without breaking the bank or not being able to find more ammo. Then just got this g3c as my carry. I'm really impressed by all these guns. They have been very reliable and and very pleased with all purchases

According to some other channels some of the G2C Holsters actually won't fit a G3C, because of the new front slide cuts. Also I really hope whenever Taurus makes the G4, that they make an optic cut like the Springfield Hellcat has.

I always enjoy and learn from your reviews. I recently purchased a G3C. I also own several other Taurus pistols including the G2C, PT111 Millennium G2, PT709 Slim and G2S. All of these firearms except the G3C have functioned almost flawlessly. Since purchasing the G3C, I have shot about 350 rounds through it, and have experienced numerous FTFs, especially situations where various rounds have gotten stuck between the magazine and feed ramp. I have read that other reviewers have experienced the same problem and most have suggested the G3C is ammo finicky. I sent the gun back to Taurus explaining my problems and also commenting that the feed ramp on my gun was apparently never polished and actually appeared to have some blemishes that might have caused the jams. Taurus normally returns repaired firearms in about a month - mine was returned in a little over a week with a notation that the trigger bar was adjusted. The feed ramp appeared to be in the same condition. In any event, I ran about 60 rounds through it and still experienced the same issue - a round became stuck between the magazine and feed ramp. After this, I polished the feed ramp but still experienced one more jam. I’m hesitant to send the gun back to Taurus since I’m dissatisfied with their inability to correct the problem the first time. Frankly, I’ve lost confidence in the weapon and will most likely store it away.

Sir, you do a very good job explaining the features, pros/cons of all the weapons you've critiqued. Probably one of the best on "You-Tube". Based on this G3c review I believe I have narrowed my next 9mm purchase to the Canik TP9 Elite compact or the Ruger Security 9. Thank you and stay safe.
The Canik is a much better gun than the Security 9. Better finish, better trigger, better barrel (cold hammer forged, match grade), better sights, NATO approved, and it comes in a nice case instead of a box for roughly the same price as the Ruger.
Purchased the G2c just as the G3c's were being introduced for about $217. Very pleased. Taurus sells a compatible 17 round magazine with matching sleeve and VERY pleased with that! I am convinced that my G2c has the better G3c trigger included, being at the end of the line on the G2c manufacturing life. Short reset. Just saying. Manufacturing be it as it may, it has lots of customizable features. A fun gun right out of the box. Accurate as I need it from 7-15 yards. GLAD TO HEAR you have been able to run a 1000 rounds through it. As with many gun owners having more than one pistor, this is my range "play" gun taking stress off of my SIGs and Rugers.
Thank you again for an excellent review.
Just picked up my G3C last week and while my Walther PPQ M2 Q4 is much nicer to shoot the Taurus is great for a daily CCW.

I've owned 5 various Taurus handguns. All of them eventually had some kind of problem from triggers breaking frames cracking and 2 revolvers not staying in time and lock up getting unacceptably sloppy. Save your money and buy a good gun
I've heard about bad Taurus revolvers in the past, but I'm curious, what were your 3 other Taurus handguns you had that performed so poorly?
@@ovans good afternoon Evan I had a pt92 9mm that the safety broke off from what I heard that's quite common. My pt111 broke the trigger off where the trigger pin went through and the one gun I liked the most and was hoping would work out the most was a pt145. It was small and kinda chunky but I really liked it. 10 rounds of .45 acp in a subcompact double stack. The polymer frame cracked at the rear pin after about 1,000 rounds. And trust me it was only fun to shoot 50-60 rounds at a time. I sent it back for warranty and got it back after 6 months. I don't know what they did besides the frame but the trigger was better. Well after 1,100 rounds the frame cracked again in the same place. I sent it back again. I got it back after 6 months with a note saying if I have any other problems don't send it back this gun is discontinued and there are no more spare parts so I sold it. I now only have S&W, Sigs FN's and Berettas
It is not 'Cheap," it is "Inexpensive." It is also not so "Holster Compatible."
Not yet.
I prefer "affordable." Obviously "cheap" has a negative connotation that affordable does not have.
I've seen a couple videos on how the slight changes Taurus has made to the styling affects holster compatability with the G2c.
I have the g2c and the g3. Love both of them. Whenever the g3c becomes available in my area again I’ll probably get one
Once again excellent video very informative always a honest opinion
