The grenade does matter. If you choose the grapple grenade instead of 2 grenades you will get 3. Just a heads up!
I was corrected by @blognessmomster so i made this edit they did inform me its the aspect Widow’s Silk that allows you to get 3 grenades.

That's not true. You do get 3 nades if you use the widow's silk aspect though.

btw, if you guys don't like Ex Diris, Final warning with this build works even better in my opinion due to the fact that it can create tangles easier to make more whirling maelstroms and has a better single target dps and also doubles back with unraveling rounds. The mothkeeper grenades come up quick due to the constant unraveling and you can spam them. Very fun, try it in onslaught, got all the way to round 50 on legend with it.

Considering how weak ex Diris is they should just have it use primary ammo.

I think it's pretty balanced considering its fire rate when ramped up, never needs reloading and spawns 2 moths on every kill. Probably a little broken even with this build.
