I cackled at Rachel’s Dockside joke, what a laser-targeted troll of Olivia
Dockside is just so unfair for commander. There's some argument for cEDH play but not enough to allow the damage to continue
A dragon dying on her own piled up hoard of treasure seems like a flavor win
"I think I'm done with your turn" is such a Yu-Gi-Oh villain line, I love it.

Olivia was still remarkably subdued on this episode. I swear 3/4 of every commander at home episode is her threatening Brian and Kibler just laughing nonstop. Nothing wrong there though

No way an Extra Turns episode ever bans a card, if anything it would increase its demand.
@@DiabloTommaso Wizards could print dockside into the ground but the EDH council that moderates the format is not directly tied to wizards. ie they could make whatever ruling they want and it is up to the community to either adapt it or rule 0 some cards that they want to run.

Small note that I only know from running an Ognis deck with academy manufactor: if the source of the treasure token creation specifies that they enter tapped, all three tokens created by academy manufactor enter tapped. This would apply to gala greeters as well. 👍
I'm surprised that you don't get everything untapped. Why doesn't the replacement effect from Manufactor override the original trigger entirely?
@@rmbee5412 I suppose Gala Greeters goes Create [Thing], [Tapped]. And then Manufacturer goes 'If you would create [Thing], instead create [These three things].
So it becomes [These three things], [Tapped].
@@rmbee5412 It is definitely something I wasn't sure about until confirming it. Basically it's not a replacement effect but an addition that doesn't change the conditions of the original tokens. Same kind of interaction with Chatterfang and Army of the Damned, where both squirrels and zombies enter tapped!

All i can find on that is a reddit thread not an actual ruling. Ive always just done it the tapped token is replaced by manufator as an untapped token
I love watching these ladies play. This is one of the best XT episodes I’ve seen so far. Definitely need to get this crew on a full GK episode. Rachel and Olivia are hilarious together.
It’s always a blast watching Olivia and Taalia play. I probably wouldn’t know who either of them are without EDH Hijinks. 😃
As soon as Syr Konrad was revealed with Blood Artist on the table, I 100% would have put all the damage on Ladee. It's bonkers how many times Syr Konrad players are left unchecked.
Every game Rachel is in she just feels so OP
She just knows how to assess threats well. Josh does the same thing, better threat assessment is 100% the *actual* skill ceiling of commander, so the more accurate your assessments are, the more likely you'll pull off a win.
@@09Dragonite Rachel's play style reminds me so much of Josh's. These two are the epitome of EDH players at analyzing the table and putting together combos that are hard to stop.

Olivia seems very busy, not only with two commander gameplay shows of her own, but also joining extra turns. Incredible.

@@jasperfuhs4988 yeah from Dragons of Tarkir. The one in the video is Zendikar Rising. I think my fave is the Shadows Over Innistrad one with the woman in the hall of paintings

Feel like I've seen these decks before. Olivia's was played on Elder Dragon Highjinks and Rachel's was played on Scrybabies, unless in mistaken.
It was cool to see Rachel's dragon approach deck pop of this time. I've only seen it once before on the IHYD channel, and it didn't do so well.
She also played it on Scrybabies not too long ago!

I think Ladee forgot 1 more insect token when she searched for a land with Prismatic Vista. It might sound like nothing, but with sacrifice effects around, that can be a BIG difference.
The Scute Swarm was killed in response to that, so nope =)
If Scute Swarm had not been killed while Prismatic Vista was on the stack, that would be 6 lands, so it would have been a copy of Scute Swarm.
@@Dragon_Fyre Technically, no, since she had four lands plus the Vista in play, but had to sacrifice the Vista to activate its ability (so she was still going to end up with 5 lands).
I loved Ladees Intro so much lol Her Penelope impression was so spot on.

8:57 One small correction here - the food and clue tokens will also enter tapped. They're still being created by the Greeter's ability, and the Greeter says that the treasure enters tapped, so all three tokens would enter tapped (I don't think it matters in this game, but something to keep in mind for your own games).
Since academy manufactor is a replacement effect, the result is that none of them enter the battlefield tapped. Since they aren’t being made off of greeters ability but are being made from the manufactor.
@@aaronzartler8492 Incorrect. Manufactor doesn't make tokens. It causes other spells and abilities to make extra token. The tokens are still being created by the Greeter's ability, not by the Manufactor, so the tokens would still enter tapped.
Here's a similar ruling from Queen Allenal of Ruadach in Gatherer: The additional Soldier token won’t have any abilities the other tokens were created with. *Anything else specified in the effect creating the tokens (such as tapped, attacking, “That token gains haste,” or “Exile that token at end of combat”) applies to both the original tokens and the Soldier.*
@Nathan Long Pretty sure the difference is the phrasing 'instead' in academy manufactor. It's not making the other two tokens in addition to the one already being generated. It's making all three instead of the one being generated.
The queen allenal example isn't the same because the original tokens still come from the original source, she just makes an extra one.

@@yoyoninjaman Nope, it is the same. Manufactor has the effect make the three tokens instead of the one token. The Queen has the effect make X+1 tokens instead of X tokens. And I'm not really sure what you mean by the "instead" part, since both effects use the word "instead":
If you would create a Clue, Food, or Treasure token, *instead* create one of each.
If one or more creature tokens would be created under your control, those tokens plus a 1/1 white Soldier creature token are created *instead.*
So when the Greeter's trigger resolves we replace "Create a tapped Treasure token" with "Create a tapped Clue, Food, and Treasure token". We only replace the part that makes the treasure token, not the tapped part, so all three tokens are created tapped.

EPIC Vandalblast by Taalia that she top decked, insane 🔥🌋🔥 The perfect time as well like a she miracle drew it haha 😂 Ladee winning was brilliant just controlling the board :) I liked how no one got rid of her commander cause it would’ve changed the game and also slowed her down, which much have changed the outcome. But noneless it was Brilliant and loved it all 10/10 can’t wait for the next Extra Turns 🤘🏻
