Hello; well done! I hope you enjoy your "new" space. Two things: if you switch out your sink for a white fireclay one, it will make a spectacular difference. Also, I lived for 17 years with a sink facing a wall like you have and could never figure out what to do. We just painted our cabinets this year and put in new countertops and a sink and I finally figured out what to do. My husband made an arch piece that connected the two cabinets on either side of the sink and, obviously, to the small cupboards above. It makes me so happy every time I look at it.
I love how detailed you were with each step of the process even pointing out the extras you had to purchase that were not part of the kit. Love how your kitchen turned out! It's beautiful!
Thank you for this video. I just love ALL YOUR videos!! You show us easy explanation of HOW TO & you don't have chaos running around in the background. You're my FAVORITE ❤❤❤THANK YOU!!!
To cover your faucet, I would suggest just taking plastic wrap that will stick to itself. I had this epiphany when painting behind a toilet in my half bath!
Oh my gosh!! Beautiful job Niki. I’m not a big fan of marble that has a lot of busy veining either. Yours is what I’d do in my kitchen. I have what I would call low end granite countertops, would the kit you used work on mine? Thanks
You know you could have bought you two or three cabinets and put them together and get you a countertop type thing and and made it like your countertops for your Island beautiful job you did 🔥
I really love this. Your projects are always neat. Your explanations on point and very clear. I'll give this a try. If you can, let us know how you managed with making food etc. ❤ from Ottawa. 😊
Thank you sooo much for sharing! THIS LOOKS GREAT! I've been seeing home tour videos of people that have done this, but no-one shared exactly how and what to use. I can't wait to do this if I need to with my new house. Did you consider using that white tile stuff (I can't think of the name) to seal the top part of the backsplash against the subway tiles?
This came out so nice. Looks very clean and elegant. I really want to try this but our kitchen countertops are tiled. So I don’t think this method will work.
You did a great job Sis! 🙌🏽. This is definitely a better alternative for changing the look of countertops. I may consider doing this to mine. One question for you, do you think the paint on the countertops will peel overtime or does it feel like the epoxy is strong enough to seal ? You did a great job as always 🙌🏽
Hey girl! Thanks so much!! ❤️❤️ it should not peel, the epoxy is very hard. Obviously, you can’t put like a burning hot pan on the counter or cut directly on the counter because that would ruin it. Overall its very durable. It was VERY hard to take the tape off after 1 day so once it fully cured, its tough. I’ll keep you posted on how its looking over time!
WoW! It looks so good. You did a great job. My counters look like yours before but blue, and I despise them. I need to do something like this, but I'm not artistic at all, and I'd be terrified to mess up the veining part. How does the epoxy hold up with heat and wetness?
The epoxy is durable. I literally just finished this project so its still in tact and works perfectly! The veining part is easier than it looks. Just twist/turn when doing it and also less is more!
Like this is you want to see Part 4!
Would you paint your kitchen countertops?
I wouldn’t but I have quartz now. If I had CZcams and this knowledge in my previous home, YES!!

Look amazing! I've seen people wrap their counters with contact paper and then epoxy over it, but this is lovely too!
Oh wow, i never heard of that method! Sounds like a great idea though

Fantastic job. I'm going for it if I can keep my family out of the kitchen for 7 days. That sounds like the hardest part.❤❤❤
You can do it! It’s not really keeping them out its mainly keeping stuff off the counter for 7 days!
Your kitchen looks amazing!! Such a transformation - well done!!

I did Giani before I got stone. It lasted for 4 years under heavy use. Great budget decor.

Wow @diybynikyfoster you really make me feel like I can change up my house……❤
You can!!
You did an amazing job!
Thank you!!! A few more tips coming soon! ❤️
You should caulk on the top of the backsplash to hide the dark edges and irregularities where the epoxy meets your subway tile
Thanks!! I am, I have something else before I do that final step! Stay tuned!! 😍😍
looks amazing!!!!!
Thanks!!
This is beautiful, but if I had to suggest one thing it would be to put some caulking around the sink and where the tile and counter meet.
Thank you! I definitely am going to!
You know you could have bought you two or three cabinets and put them together and get you a countertop type thing and and made it like your countertops for your Island beautiful job you did 🔥
Yeah i think i want to do that in the future to make it bigger if my kitchen size will allow it!

Thank you!! It’s on my to do list! I’ll explain soon❤️

What type of material was the original countertop? Great job😊
Thanks! The original was like a laminate. The kit works on a bunch of other materials though.
😍😍
❤️❤️
Yes like it i do mine
😂😂
❤Beautiful!!,
Thank you! 😊
This came out so nice. Looks very clean and elegant. I really want to try this but our kitchen countertops are tiled. So I don’t think this method will work.
Thank you!!! There is a Rustoleum tile paint i believe. Depending on your colors, you can try that!
@@DIYbyNikyFoster ohhh ok. Cool! I’ll look into it. Thanks for the tip!
Beautifully done!
Thank you so much!
I’m new here! 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤

So good! It’s been about a week, but I’m in love now.
You could easily put in a new sink - a new drop in sink would look so nice with your pretty faucet..
Oooh that sounds nice!!! I just might have to look into that!!
There is a bit too much white for me. But like the countertop
Thanks! I’m an all white kitchen girlie! 😂❤️
Why no one ever say how much epoxy they are using?
