Bethel School Board Members Have Heated Exchange after LGBTQ Resolution Blocked

In this video, Board member Roseanna Camacho calls out other board members and the superintendent Tom Seigel for allegedly blocking a resolution that would have affirmed the district's support of the LGBTQ community. The resolution did not appear on the May 28 or June 11 agendas, despite Camacho and board member Erasmo Ruiz advocating for it and a motion to add it to June 11's agenda failed, with Camacho and Ruiz voting in favor and members Terrance Mayers Sr. and Teresa Cosio voting against. Board president Marcus Young was not present at the meeting.
