What camera and lens do you record with?
I use a Nikon D5100 with a 40mm macro lens. I use 2 soft boxes and a ring light for lighting.
What eye primer do you use?
I always use mac soft ochre paint pot set with a translucent powder.

Honestly I'm not too impressed with too faced shadows in general, I have two palettes from them and I'm not crazy about them or the quality especially for the price point. I did just order the peach palette to give them one last shot, it was also 40% off lol I definitely wouldn't have bought it if it weren't for that coupon. I hope it's better than the ones I have.
Their born this way foundation is bomb though, I'll give them that.

I got this pallete for $25 dollars lol and idk I think it’s not as pigmented as I thought it would be but it’s cute regardless for lighter looks and stuff

I got this palette and the colors are gorgeous, but.. tbh the pigmentation is not that good and it is so hard to get but other than that its a good 5\10!

Just keep digging looks and memorizing the technique. Maybe practice on paper. My mom didn't let me wear name up either.
I struggled with this , what I did was tell my mom how other girls wear makeup and how confident they feel. She’ll probably let you wear natural at first and then eventually maybe eyeshadow
