What do you use to prime your eyes?
I typically use a concealer (like Tarte shape tape) and I set that with a translucent powder.

I am LOVING this! I hope you keep this up, using older palettes, like say, monthly, or a couple times a month, cause its so good to actually get out older palettes and use them to keep from just buying more and more and never using what you buy

I like the look. I love this palette and haven't use it in forever. I love Too Faced shadows but I don't buy from the brand anymore.
Me too.... the owners (bro and sis) are do disappointing 😒 Then once they started to do good the products started to loose quality 🙄 😒 😑 and the price just kept going up... sad. What got to me was when the sister went against Nikki from Nikki Tutorials!!!! Shame!

I never bought this palette but this inspired me to get the dupe from Revolution Beauty. I get basically the same thing for a fraction of the cost and don't have to give TF money. :)
The shade luscious in that palette is awesome, one of my all time favs!! It's really buttery, not like the other shades in that palette!

I only ever tried the natural eyes palette and the boudoir eyes palette and i ended up giving them away because i didn’t like the formula. They always just looked so muddy and unpigmented 😐
I really liked this look! You used the shadows I almost do not use in this pallete, like this green and purple. I will seriously try this.
What a beautiful, unique look. I was considering getting one of the peach palettes, but this makes me realize I could try this look using shadows from multiple palettes I already own. Very helpful.

I don’t like theirs either but I do own this pallet which I didn’t grab very often because the colors didn’t have a great pay off. But I do like this combination of color I’ll have to try.

I totally agree I bought a too faced pallet a couple of months back and was not impressed with the formula!! Like the colors were so pretty and that’s why I bought it but it was not pigmented at all!! 🥺

I agree. I want to love my sweet peach pallet so badly but I just can’t get enough intensity from the colours. I have to add colour from other pallets so I figure I’ll just use the other pallets and put the peach pallet back in the drawer. 😢

I dont own much too faced but I do have coloupop and get what you're saying about too faced vs colourpop. I like too faced mostly for the fact that their mattes are so creamy and colourpop really lacks in that department.
I also like Two Faced. The. Born This Way and Natural Mattes are awesome.

It is a muted look but still very pretty. You are right about Too Faced eyeshadow formulation, it’s not the best.

That’s funny. Im the opposite. I love the Too Faced formula. I have the Gingerbread Extra Spicy palette and the Pumpkin Spice palette. They are really pigmented. The Colourpop formula doesn’t work for me for some reason. I agree though the colors in this palette are very muted. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. But this palette just seems kind of boring to me. Not colors I gravitate towards.

@@angelaabright I have the born to run palette but I can never seem to make this work for me. The colors turn muddy when I blend them together and then it fades throughout the day. My other shadows don't do this. I hope I can find inspiration from your video on this palette!
@@starfireonvf short of using a white eyeshadow primer and smaller blending brushes not sure what else can be done. I have medium brown black skin and and small eyes. If I'm not careful with my placement and blending my colours will look muddy. If I want them to be colour ture and vibrant I have to use a white base. The only thing I could think of due to fading is maybe you are not packing on enough colour to begin with? Like I literally see people pack on three layers in longer videos.
I agree with the comments about Two Faced. I have the Chocolate Bar palette and I hate it! All the shadows are chalky and patchy.

I love the Smokey lower lash line even though you didn’t mean to do it that way. I don’t gravitate towards the too faced eyeshadow palettes.. agree... there’s better out there
I’ve actually only ever bought one thing from Too Faced - the super coverage concealer. The brand is aimed at a much younger audience than me, so it never really appealed.

I love two faced shadows, they go on well and don't cause any reactions to my lids. You mentioned colourpop, well, I dislike the cheap brands like colourpop and elf. They are horrible and cause so many bad reactions on my lid.

I kind of feel the same way about UD naked palettes now. I used to love them but after getting some viseart and ND palettes I feel like the UD just don't measure up to the quality or pack much of a punch. And most of the colors in the palettes really look the same on the eyes. So I feel like you only really get one or two looks for the money. And you're right, I feel like I get much nicer looks from my colourpop palettes and way cheaper.

I have two urban decay which I'm happy with. Heat and Born to Run. This is what pops on my black girl. Medium brown skin. There original 1 2 3 did nothing for me. Cherry is like Heat to me just more red instead of burnt orange.
This palette seems pretty close to the Born to Run palette
I enjoy too faced matte eyeshadows. But the shimmers are not shimmery, they are very powdery. I think eyeshadow formulas have come a LONG way since this palette released and there's way better formulas out there. I agree colourpop has lovely pigments both matte and shimmers, but they sting my eyes so badly. Too faced formula is not the best but it doesn't sting my eyes. I want to try abh though, I only have a mini norvina vol.2 palette with very bright and colorful colors but I want to try a more versatile palette since it doesn't sting my eyes either.
