Thanks a lot, Irene for this really fun photoshoot in Paris, I hope you will start to use weird lenses more in your work, and if you do, I will be there to give you some tips !
Subscribed !
Subbed too, it's so cool what you are doing
It was so much fun trying out those lenses! Now i can't wait to come back to Paris :)
Irene Rudnyk my two heroes

Guys, don't forget to check out Mathieu's video here :

Awesome collab!
I don’t know if Irene will read this but if she does I just want to give her personal thanks. Photography has come full circle for me, in that it started as a personal passion to photograph my son, and has since turned into a profession where I shoot real estate and family portraiture to make money and earn a living. Her videos keep me invested in the artistic aspect of photography and I don’t know what I would do without that inspiration. I am sure there are times where Irene wonders just like any other artist why she does what she does and puts forth the effort that she does. I hope that kind words and true sentiments such as these keep her inspired for years to come to do great things for people all across the world. Thank you Irene. Perfection is not what we need, your passion is what we need.
Thank you so much!!
You are such a sweetheart Irene! I love how humble you are. The photos are all beautiful!
The globular lens is just amazing !! wow
I Love the middle lens! The images look so awesome!!
U r also awesome
Love your artistic eye! Thank you Mathew for being a part of this day’s adventure.
I think the pictures turned out better than you originally thought. Still great work! I love your videos!
The last image you took was soo lovely. My favourite of the bunch
You and Mathieu are some of my favorite CZcamsrs! Glad you guys got to collab! Some fun shots
I really enjoyed the challenges the lenses gave you. It makes you appreciate today's gear. I hope you keep coming back to these type.
The last one is my absolute favorite! Awesome video as always
Mathieu is a great guy, this is nice to see you collaborate together. True passionnate people!
Love these pics... Especially with the second lens.
Cool Nintendo shirt Mathieu had on! 🎮😄 I really like your images from the second vintage lens.
I loved the last picture with the 1910 lens!
Hello Irene, thank you for introducing us to such cool vintage lenses..definitely a great option to try it out. By the way the images look amazing, as always :)
I just subscribed to Matheiu and ordered the Industar 50mm lens, very excited to give it a try!
Irene your voice is so serene!
What are your thoughts on Laowa 9mm f2.8
Very interesting results. I’m glad you posted this. 👍🏻
Love the way you inspired me ❤️
Wow, looks like lots of fun with great results!
Awesome shoot, Irene :) Well Paris isn't that far away from my place in Belgium
Very nice capture with weird vintage lenses !
Hello, this is amazing, could you please tell us how you managed to get live view to work using these vintage lenses?
I love vintage lenses and also Mathieu's channel
I have to try my old minolta lens again :D Just need an adapter for Canon. She will fit on the Sony alpha series.
Garry Vancauwenbergh you might be better off on the Sony for focus peaking. 👍🏻
I use minoltas on a used fuji x-t1.. works so so good 👏🏻
Great Irene love it...
That's so creative,,, I like to watch more.
Very cool, make me want to start checking swap shops and yard sales. BTW the way due to your videos a bought me a Canon 85mm though I went for the 1.4 instead of the 1.8 and must say, the Canon 85mm f1.4 L is amazing, but would never have consider one until I watch some of yours with you 85. Thank you
I'm glad you enjoy your new lens :)
@@IreneRudnyk Oh very much so, would have went with the 1.2 but it was a little slower in the focus for me. Since I seldom shot people, the 1.4 made better sense. Maybe one of these days upon watching enough of your video, I will try people more. Best to you and congrats on your not to recent wedding and last thank you for getting out there and showing support to some recent people that had to deal with let's just say less professional types.
A fun set of videos. You should give a soviet screw-mount Helios-103 53mm f1.8 .... In the same world as that Industar, but sharper, faster, and lovely bokeh without anywhere near as much swirl as with most Helios.
Oh, I have industar 50/3.5 lens too!
The last one look dope!
I Love vintage lenses. The best for me is Chinon 55mm f1.7. I recommended :).
It came across like you didn't enjoy that. So, props to you for still putting it up. If you are only used to point and shoot photography, discovering that there used to be a craft to it that took some time to master, can leave you confused and disheartened.
Lol what ? I shoot film with manual lenses all the time, plus I own a Helios and a petzval lens for my digital camera. I actually really enjoyed shooting that day, I just didn't end up with images I truly loved( except for those Globular ones)
@@IreneRudnyk Really? Well, apologies Irene. You fooled me.
Nice video! I really like the images Kodak lens is my favorite , i own Industar lens . my Industar 50 is M39 mount but it's the same glass ,i use it on my Fed 3!
The starburst look works well with your style.
wow those pics came out amazing!! Great work as always
Thank you!
Dear Irene!
Which adapter did you use for industar 50-2 to connect with your 5D markt III?
Thank you! :-)
Very interesting video. Loved it.
Yeap, much better collaboration than the other one with so many #! :D
Pretty cool, these are fun!
Beautiful Photography
Awesome content Irene! Your the best 😀🙌🏼
3:14 You pressed a button in live view, which zoomed in. Wow how is that possible? Is that a mirrorless cam? Can you tell me how to do that?
We love it too)
Really cool of Jessica Chastain to kindly model for you both.
Hahaha, right?
Wonderful
Actually a very nice video despite your initial reservations!
I shoot with manual lenses and have an Industar 50 (older silver version for 39mm mount SLRs, not the rangefinder one). This lens is weird only by its size. In general it is a good sharp 50mm lens and it fits any pocket even with adapter. Mine has no chromatic aberrations at all. IMHO one of the best soviet lenses.
I would like to have the globular lens, too. Thank you for posting. This is sooo cool!! Mathieu Stern put it on a mirrorless camera? But you didn't and it worked.
go to canon r you will get focus peaking and it is will be much more easy to focus by manual lenses
Super interesting!
I had no idea you can shoot photos with lenses that old
of course, there are adapters that let you shoot almost any lens ever made, especially if you use mirrorless cameras, No autofocus, but manual focus is easy. But there's even an autofocus adapter from Techart so you can shoot Leica M lenses on a Sony body and then you can adapt other lenses to that adapter.
Well, It is mostly with mirrorless where you can do it, adapters are around 20 us dollars. With reflex cameras just a few lenses can be use.
Amazing 😍😍😍
Thank You Irene, I like This video....
if you like crazy bokeh, you should try fujian 35 1.7 CCTV lens, but it works on apsc only.
Inspiring. Thank you.
Please I’m in Nigeria. How can I get an adapter for my zenit Tair-300 lense on my 5d mark iii
What wireless microphone do you use?
I want to order one but torn with what I should get.
Very nice.
How do I get the swirly bokeh from the Industar 50-2. Just got one in the mail but it’s not producing that effect, do I have to mod it?
What adapter ring are you using?
COOL VIDEO, ARE THOSE LENSES CAN BE USED IN A NIKON
❤❤❤❤
Hey! Could u tell me the name of the parc you guys were at?
Beautiful 😍😍😘
Lovely 😍😘😘
Photography
Nice Video
what adapters can be used on dslrs to use these lenses?!?
where do you get these lenses and HOW do they connect to our canon cameras most importantly PLEASE?
I would suggest checking out Mathieu's channel for all this info :)
шикарно!
Do you use an early or one of the later Helios lenses? I found the later ones (like the 44M-7) quite sharp enough, while the earlier ones are definitely more vintage and washed out.
I have the more modern one, and it was quite disappointed with it. Maybe I'll make a video about it.
@@IreneRudnyk There's the common (mostly American) rumor that the quality of the lenses depends on the vodka rations at the factory and could change daily - maybe there's some truth to it. ;)
👍
I like your video

Random but I feel like I never have time to edit...and most of the time I'm not satisfied once I'm done . I think that's why I never want to charge too much, does anyone else experience that ? I've loved photography since middle school btw. Also if there are any other small photographers comment your IG so that we can critique eachother , mines is @gllowmonkey

好美喔!妳好棒!
You are so beautiful yourself why you do not do modeling.
Not sure why everyone is still stuck on bokeh all the time. It's OK not be stuck at 1.8 all the time.
It's BOKEH not "boka"
Learn the Photography
Am i the first?
Muka nya yang difoto kaya sedih gitu 🙄
Siapa yg sedih??
sell your canon. dslr is dead.
I mean it still works great for what I do, but there are much better things out there now, so an upgrade is coming :)
@@IreneRudnyk you won't regret leaving canon in your dust, i didn't. fuji!!
Mirrorless with a great EVF and ibis is the best way for adapting lenses and have a pleasurable shooting prolific experience. Using a huge DSLR as a mirrorless with no evf is odd at least!
You call yourself a photographer? Learn to focus, shoot manual, and hold the camera first... 🤦🏻♂️
