Gosh, rescues in areas of Los Angeles are the most hairiest of things! I've tried to do it --- rescuing little dogs running and darting on roads with people driving so fast ---- not for the faint hearted (of which I am one!) One thing I learned -- never chase. Never. Sitting down on a sidewalk got the little dogs to come near me -- unfortunately, someone walked up and scared them and off they went again with me screaming for cars to stop. GOD BLESS HOPE FOR PAWS for doing this on a daily basis in LA and elsewhere.
