I love this show. It's fast-paced, and it's confusing in its first watch, but I love the lore, characters, OST, moments of horror, animation, aesthetic, etc. I love that it is a show that requires multiple rewatches. It feels rewarding as a viewer when you slowly piece together the lore and see how much they are foreshadowing, and you catch things in the background you didn't notice in your first watch.
THE EXACT SAME FOR ME LOL, the first time watching murder drones I was like: 🤨 but after watching all 7 episodes 4 times I noticed a lot more stuff and pieced together more things. (And everytime theres something you can read in the background i try to pause and read it 😭)
I think Murder Drones did became my favourite show. I do love the characters, especially the main duo. The story is kinda hard to understand and the pacing can be a bit all over the place at times, well, it's mostly fast, according to a lot of people but I do really love it. There are a lot of little details all over the place, in the background, implications to events, things that don't say outright but if you realise them they can repaint certain things and the OST is awesome. Sometimes even, there are just a few frames in a scene that you can easily miss but if you catch, especially after later episodes, you realise how much they foreshadowed, even in the Pilot.
I really hope we can get a season 2 and maybe even more seasons of MD.

The story is not that complicated. It is merely the absurd pacing that causes the illusion of complexity. It is as if they were cramming 1-2 hours of content into 20 minutes, each episode.
I mean, yeah. I love it, and I can keep up and I understand (or at least hope I understand) the story. It's just that a good few people who watched the show say that it's complicated because it's too fast and can't keep up

this is actually so true I once heard about murder drones from my brother but I didn’t really care that much so I didn’t watch it for a couple months so I watched the first episode and I wasn’t anymore until I saw the thumbnails they look so cool so I just watched it anyways and when I got to the fourth episode, I could not stop watching it, and I literally watched the full thing almost every day😭
Feel this, I genuinely could not be bothered studying for an exam so binged and got obsessed with the series. Even got my partner hooked into it now!

I can tell you that the story become's always more complicated by every episode you watch. It took me two time's watching the whole show and also some matpat's game theory to fully understand the phole story and the interesting plotfist that came in one of the episodes.
I sill kinda love how this show is made and how it fill always hold some mystery inside of it.
If you like this serie, I recommend you to watch the Helluva Boss after this if you like cool indie animation shows like this. I think that this video was really great and I hope that you will continue making videos like this.🙂

Very well produced video, especially for someone who did not ever do a video of such a kind! I do kinda feel like you didn't explain enough why the show "hooks you in" tho. Like cool, we see some character development and the show has a cool atmosphere, but a show having that doesn't mean it will interest the viewer enough to watch the next episode. So yeah I think you should have made it a bit more clear what was your takeaway from this, and what should be our takeaway from this. But even then, this video is very good, seriously great job!
Yeah, I realised that I did a little too much on the PILOT whilst editing, so do plan to change that around but thanks for the comment!
Always glad to see new fans of the series! Though just in case you didn't already know we don't yet know if episode 8 will be the end of the series or merely season 1. Glitch has remained tight-lipped about this.

I started watching murder drones when episode 7 dropped. I heard of it before that, but never got into it until episode 7
I only really watched it after seeing TADC for the first time back in 2023💀 i wish I saw the series earlier though

wait they used unreal i though that was blender or some other 3d render software it's amazing how much epic put into the unreal engine it's just amazing that this can come out of it
remenber that smg4 started with gmod and an n64 emulator seeing how far the quality went in terms of animation at glitch is just amazing

i agree it's a great show
Murder drones is one of my favorite series. Althouh here are some of my points as a diehard fan.
1: Its a trust the process. alot of epiosdes are 50/50.. personally i didnt like epiosde 2 and 5. It didnt hook me in unlike 1,3,4,6,7 possibly even 8 whenever it comes out. Really you dont know if you like it unless you watch the first few episodes.. or the whole series.
2: Some characters can be complete assholes, but end up still being badass and likeable.. Like J, Lizzy, possibly even V. These charatcers, esp J i feel like are just those characters who are just so badass, but barely get any screentime. (V is a different story.. whilst her being in every single episode besides 7 (even 8) still, shes baddass.) But the main characters like N, Someitmes egt overhyped.. Dont get me wrong i love N as a character, but please- we get it- you like N- 😭 khan is none of these just a straight up asshole. but atleast he does something sueful in episode 7.
3: Lore, the lore is absolutely amazing. Inn most episodes..- Like epiosde 6 and 7.. These epiosdes creeped me out the most- Thats rlly all i have to sayfor lore- or this comment would be. 10.. hrs.. long...
also yes lets ignore how the piolets animation quailty was mid, but then suddenly jumps to a full on netflix production in episode 2- (no hate- confusing lowkey)

Yeah, a PILOT is always a bit of a tech demo so I can forgive some oddities with it lol. Plus in my partners words "N is literally you" so I am pretty biased with this lol. Plus I do know that my partner loves V so much to the point that she did start crying at the end of episode 6, and I am praying she does come back in some manner, if not episode 8, defos next season which I do believe will happen!
@@Supaconcord even if she dies, I do have a theory that IF theres a season 2, V will come back but just to use the solver and possess everyone like how cyn did, but instead would try to possess N. or even J.

I am a BIG fan of Murder drones I have watch it 13 times so far each in one day and one time I watch it two times in a day and I started watching this tv series a week after the 7th ep came out and I found just like you well similar I have seen a lot of fan art of talc then I watched it I liked it so I subscribe to glitch then glitch posted the 7th ep then I have seen it a lot on my suggestions then I finally watch it now I am a big fan of murder drones and glitch.

I watched tadc, hated it. Looked at the channel, saw MD, loved it.
