This is a good concept for chapter 4, as they can add a cutscene that goes like this: you have to run from a hazard like a crushing wall so you use your dash hand to get across a gap, mid dash a cutscene plays of a enemy grabbing you.
And about the boss fight, there would be kissy missy, she will be controlled by the prototype, so in this boss fight there will be pads on the walls with this hand symbol on it, so as soon as kissy screams that means she will charge at you like huggy wuggy, and the player's running speed is not that fast so we have to use that Dash hand and to dodge kissy's attack, if we dodge her attack, kissy will bump against the wall, making her feel dizzy, so while she is trying to get back to her conciousness, we will have time to grab the battery and put it in the slots, after we do that, kissy will scream agian then charge at us, this will go on for a while until we put all the batteries in their slots, there will be a tube, it needs a blue battery, so after we put the last battery in the slot, we will have to pull the lever and there will be a cutscene, where kissy will scream one last time and she will charge at us, so the player will use Dash hand to get out of kissy's way, kissy will bump into the tube and stay there for a while, the transparent door behind kissy will be closed, she will scream at us while banging the glass door, the player will pull the lever one more time and lava will drop on top of kissy, she will scream in agaony and then die.

I have a new idea about this new hand: Instead of having handles to dash to that place you can use the hand at any surface at long as it can grip to it but be careful where you dash maybe you dash into a place that isn't very safe and also the wire length is the same as the 2.0 hand but luckily you can cancel the dash anytime
It would be epic to have in chapter 4 a white colored hand with a similar structure of the purple hand, which works like a stun gun! imagine stunning for a period of time the toys while a boss fight or something else, obviously with a reload time. But the more you wait before shooting, the more powerful the shoot is. It also makes sense, because it could work very well as a security gadget for the playtime co. employees to repel toys or to trap them in research cages, like the prototype.
I was also thinking about this kind of hand, like there would be a pad on the walls and on the ground, so when you shoot the hand it will teleport you or even you could dash forwards with it

It could also be used for puzzles that are timed like a door only being opened for 5 seconds and you are far away
imagine monsters that run faster than players. Dash could be really useful.
