Your channel has been my saving grace, and when combined with the wisdom in "30 Days to Reduce Anxiety" by Harper Daniels, it's a transformative experience. Highly recommend both!
😂I did too
my ADHD is so bad I spent 20 minutes choosing between all the focus music videos

Me reading this comment: 🗿
My ADHD has never been as horrible as it has been this last year. Because of not meeting deadlines to simply get paperwork completed, I’ve lost my car. I’m in the process of possibly losing my house. I’m on meds and have been listening and reading somethings in reference to this brain of mine. It’s so extremely frustrating to stuck. I’ve tried white noise, pink, brown and I believe black. They don’t do anything for me. This is so soothing to my core. I’m hoping tomorrow will be a little better.
Funny how I can type this to complete strangers because I feel someone may be able to relate but my two grown sons, family and friends think I’ve totally lost my mind because I can’t explain what’s going on to them.
Nonetheless, thank you for this recording!
Take care everyone!
Thank you Thank you Thank you 😊 I am not alone. You haven't a clue how you helped me. Sending you love and light and blessings to the moon and back 👁️✨❤️❤️
I send you a warm hug! Do you use ADHD medication? And what kind of medication?
yeh, it's infuriating when you have about 20 years experience in psychology and no matter how well you explain it, even ppl who _should_ care or try to understand, don't.
I hope things have gotten better for you!
Have you considered trying ketogenic lifestyle? I've read many cases where ADHD symptoms are "controlled" by being in ketosis. Maybe try carnivore diet!
Check youtube videos about the topic!
I am at the point where this is the only thing holding my paycheck in place. I am 35 years old and do not have the mental discipline to see a 5 minute task through without 14 hours of getting snacks, playing with the dogs, taking a quick reset nap/shower/bath, making a coffee, rearranging my space to minimize the physical distractions, getting phone calls, shuffling through endless podcasts, flossing my teeth, online shopping etc. Taking RX for ADD just fuels the fire to start a bunch of tasks but does not help me tune out distractions. Listening to this actually seems to keep my brain pacified enough that my ADD can be sated and I can sit down and get to task.
omg this entire comment is literally me for every task small or big 😭😭😣😫
I think we must be related.😁
Holy shit, you just described me.
Has it gotten better?
Covid certainly made it a lot worse
Most other "focus" music on CZcams is slow piano music with some background sounds, which for me evokes feelings of sadness and demotivates me.
This one is very different, sounds positive and motivating, and the complexity of the melody is satisfying.
I have also used piano music. Some of the songs do tend toward melancholia. Some of them relax me too much and I just want to sit and be. This one is great for my effort zone.
So true!!!!
I have the same issue!! I've found that aquarium music works great as focus music for me without making me sad!
Agreed!!
I was getting the same feeling of sadness... thanks for sharing
I was feeling really down today. Took a few minutes listening to this music, and so happened to scroll through the comments. There are so many caring, beautiful people in this world..I needed this today. Thank you all for posting about love...no hate or divisiveness.❤

Just to let you know - In India there are slums. The people that live there will probably be there their entire lives and then die and be forgotten. Forever. Thanks for virtue signaling though ❤️. Moron.😊
I dunno why this works, but it's like magic. If I focus too much on the repetitiveness of the music I get bored, but if I let it be background it somehow helps me really focus and stay on track. Pretty cool stuff. I exercise, meditate, do counseling and take meds, but I've never tried using music and this is definitely a piece of the puzzle I need. THANK YOU!!
Yes, its very calming. Encourages my racing brain to calm down and focus a bit better. 🌝
that's how my ADHD works as well=)
My mind and body just has to be occupied with as much as possible different channels of perception or activity, so it has no chance to get distracted with smth.
That goes to everything I don't really want t do cuz my mind constantly trying to use any opportunity to switch my attention to anything, but only not this "sh1t" I'm trying to do.
This music has in my perception several different dimensions and as for now takes the majority of my background attention so its a little bit east to concentrate.
Anyway, I got distracted at least 3 times while typing this comment=) Gladly track is still on. Only a couple of hours passed. ahah)
Fascinating, right? I study different foundations & pedagogies of teaching. My main focus is ''Teach through play''. Perhaps needless to say, I've dabbled in many video games and my theory is -- that I am now even more inspired to look into -- is that music like this is incorporated as part of a formula to have players better focus on tasks/self-given work in a game and to have a better feeling of inner satisfaction from it. Again, just a theory for now...but I'm sure I'm not far off!
I'm glad you figured that out because music has been helping me completely take over my ADHD. Shutting off the ears and letting them focus on only one thing is a great gateway to a somewhat silent and peaceful mind haha.
Same here, I use it when I need to focus and shut down background noises and thoughts.
This sounds like that part in every House MD episode. It's like 12am, House is in deep thought in his office, bouncing a ball. Cut to a panning aerial shot of the hospital etc...
Woh.
Is this real? Is this my answered prayer? I’m in tears, I am so hopeful.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
You... yes, YOU. Breathe deeply - you're going to pass your test, and then you will use your knowledge to do good and help others. You really do got this. Now return to your task😉
Thank you :') needed this
Thank you. I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to my concentration.
i feel called out🤣
This one's special. It's my favorite. When I first listened to this, all my thoughts collapsed down to a single focus. Then I realized I felt so very, very tired.
My opinion: For good focus music you need fine balance between complexity and simplicity of the rhythm: Complex enough to keep you distracted from thoughts and simple enough for you to focus on your task. Creates a nice hypnotic space for you to enter your 'zone'.
That is very true. Personally I cannot focus on work if the music is "hummable" or complex. It engages my attention instead of the work. I like music, I play piano. Standard music distracts me from working. This music is just right for mood without distraction.
I find this music hard on my eyes, the rhythmic bass line is too bass.. too deep, actually deters from the muscles in the eyes
And this music is perfect for that xD
agreed, it is so aggravating that so many 'focus' musics require loud claps, shrill whistles or alarming chimes
@@Robertahausen Everyone is different...it does not affect me that way, but I am not even in the same room with it, so it might if I were close to the screen. There are, fortunately, many others to choose from. I hope you find something that works well for you!
Gives my ADHD something to do while my conscious mind is busy.
My procrastination struggles these days are off the charts. God I hope this works!
Did it work for you? Day 1 for me today.
I'm here because I've been struggling to keep focussed on my work, so much so that I'm missing deadlines for my uni work. I'm literally here working on an essay that was due 10 hours ago, but this music, and a lot of the music from this channel, helped me be more productive in an hour than I had been in a week. Same here. I started developing this lack of focus after 1 and a half year of online school. This is helping me getting back to "normal".
Years and years I've been looking for the right sound for my ADHD brain to flow with. This is the only one I return to now, over and over. I don't know if it's a perfect frequency or if the cadence matches my brainwaves or whatever. My point is, this is, and will be for a long long time, my favorite and most effective focus music that I've ever used. I appreciate you so much for making this available ❤️
I have no idea why this works but it is working much more than the lofi hip-hop I typically listen to to concentrate.
Yes! I noticed this immediately. I usually listen to something by LoFi Girl, which don't get me wrong, I love that stuff-but this had an immediate feeling of just..."phew!" I'm a freelance writer and sometimes I can't "word" because my brain won't shut off...this is really nice :)
Agreed! Still love Lofi Girl but it can get repetitive - and while THIS stuff is repetitive by default, it's more hypnotic, not melodic - and I thinks that's why it works. If you've heard the same melody over and over again it can get distracting. This just hums along and I'm able to focus on my UX work.
@@JLynn_StreetSavvySEO I use this for the exact same thing.
It brings peace of mind, more peace, more focus.

this is like a magic spell. put it on for me and another ADHD friend. they cleaned the entire house and I got my resume done. its hypnotic. thank you!!!
Gazillions of thanks to the person(s) that created and availed this "Music". Be blessed. It has touched my life.
I was struggling to focus on my homework but put this on and finished everything I needed to do in 40 mins! I had previously been spending about 2 hours trying to finish it and getting nowhere so I will be listening to this from now on!
Everytime I do school work, this is playing in the background.
I actually use this for focusing on games cutscenes
This is dope. Ethereal but somehow optimistic and even a little groovy. The tones just feel meaty and satisfying in your brain. Excellent "wading through spreadsheets" music!
Of all the ADHD helps I've found on CZcams, this is one of the best for me for all day relief. I don't get fed up with the sounds. There are no biaurel or any other kind of 'beats'. Just plain old music to help your mind keep on track -- and it works. Thank you.
i'm normally a skeptic but this shit is like magic to me; i focus so well when this is playing that i kind of don't believe it except the speed at which i accomplish tasks has improved too significantly to disregard. thank you to whoever made this 🙏🙇
I just sat here for 3 hours listening to other binaural beats, i felt more focused when i had had enough "testing" and switched it off!! This on the other hand seems to work for me and not be at all annoying . Very good indeed
@@Digithaiz Well in spite of what people with absolutely no qualifications say, and whatever random 'tubers put in their clickbait titles and descriptions, while yes when playing different frequencies in each ear a third frequency is perceived (by the way all this has to do with is the neural activity response to phase coming in and out) it has no documented REPEATABLE effect. Its 1000% placebo. Dont believe me? Just go give 'Orion' by Metallica a listen through at 0.85 speed. The tonal transitions have been proven to affect the limbic system in such a way that its been known to enhance ones sexual stamina.
Of course it doesn't. But if for even a millisecond you brain went 'ORLY?!' you might actually be susceptible to suggestion and the placebo effect more than benefiting from binaural beats. LPT: Dont trust people who A) have no reason to help you (yes that includes 'just to be a nice person') and/or B) profit off of your participation (you know, like advertisers and companies and youtubers uploading clickbait trash).
As an ACTUAL ADHD child, one that was on high dose Ritalin (until I refused to take it anymore and the brain fog cleared....Dont speed us up, slow us down. Should have been on high dose THC....), this slow out of time elevator music is more distracting than anything.....I would HATE having this in a study space....Like, someones radio is going to take flight out of a window hate. Dont believe everything you read in a youtube title. Try reading actual studies that have had actual repeatable results instead of some wackjobs white paper that made it into a psychology journal....because the Hoboken psychological medicine journal isnt exactly known for its accuracy. Practice true skepticism instead of naysaying things you dont like or understand and youll be less susceptible to suggestion and the placebo effect. Also, when researching, the truly scientific seekers of knowledge attempt to prove themselves WRONG not right. Scraping to be right leaves you in an echo chamber. Seeking to prove yourself wrong but being unable to will leave you with a deeper understanding of the processes at play. When all forms of disproving have failed, what remains is closer to the truth than if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck and that guy over there said on his youtube video it was a duck......
@@mandi8345 If people find it helpful, why not let it lay?
@@mandi8345 I'm getting the sense you don't know how ADHD brains work. We take stimulants due to the paradoxical effect of stiimulants on the ADHD brain. In a neurotypical person, ritalin speeds them up, thats why these types of drugs are known as speed, lol. With many/most people with ADHD, the ritalin (or adderall) does slow their brain down. Its also unfortunately why many women with ADHD who are diagnosed later in life do not get the opportunity to take stimulants - because they have already been self-medicating with illegal stimulants or with alcohol, and are then deemed "addicts" and are not eligible for an "addictive" substance by prescription. I am not saying it was right that you were on a high dose as a child, or diminishing the brain fog that you had, your experience is real and valid. But don't diminish others expereince either by saying we shouldnt be on ritalin and that this music is a placebo just because you hate it. Did you know there are several different types of ADHD? Maybe you are not a type that finds this music helpful. I personally am impulsive/inattentive and not hyperactive. There are things that work for me that don't work for other women with ADHD, and vice versa. And lets not forget the other huge thing... sometimes a thing works for a few days or weeks - until it doesn't. I agree with you on one thing - not naysaying things you don't like or understand :D
As soon as it hit my headphones I said " oooooooo this is different" in the most amazing ways. Thank you
Yesterday I was super stressed at work. I didnt want to do my job anymore. The mentality was blocking and pushing me away from my job.
Yesterday I found your channel. I seriously want to say a big THANK YOU. You saved me for staying at my job and working on the tickets im supposed to work on. I was literally on the breaking point of walking away from my job.
Seriously thank you very much. !!!!
I found this meditation very use full. Find a spot in the middle of the room and sit on the floor. Choos a comfortable yoga pose which keep your back straight . Ensure you have a thick foam cushion that provides comfort without inducing laziness. Close your eyes and allow your thoughts to flow freely. Don’t attempt to stop them. After a few minutes, you’ll notice your thoughts naturally subsiding. Practice this daily for at least 10-15 minutes.
I just went and grabbed all of the adhd tracks from this channel and started them all at the same time. its somehow still retains a beat of its own, like organized chaos

The "chill" playlists that include things like nintendo BGM usually get me too excited or nostalgic and I kinda daydream. I can't explain it, but the music from this channel literally just makes me feel fixated and mellow. Doesn't make the work easier, but it does help me shut out other things and focus more.

Exactly. This is Exactly how I feel right now.
I felt my stomach unclench and my body relax immediately.
In fact, its going in my pinned tabs forever.
I got that tingly feeling in the back of my head almost immediately. "Frisson" it's called I think. Clearly this is doing something.
@@nio804 I believe the sensation you're describing is called Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, or ASMR. There are tons of YT channels dedicated to triggering this sensation
I think I have adhd as well. At least a mild form of it. Should I try doing homework while listening to this or do most feel some sort of significant difference immediately. I definitely feel different, like my mind feels weird, but idk how to describe it/whether or not it is helping my adhd
Ditto. Lets crack on with our studies! Best of luck
This is really effective. And a good example of how a focus music should be: rhytmic. There are lots of ambient music on youtube for focus, and they are great for focusing while meditating, but if you're working on something, you need a smooth rhytm.
This makes me feel instantly synchronized with the world around me and relaxed. I have a good pair of headphones with bass, and this just feels warm and deeply satisfying. Thank you!
Regardless if this is for focus/studying, this actually just sounds very cool as a music piece
I work so much more efficiently and FOCUSED without burning myself out with this audio. Keeps me calm, relaxed, and keeps me from distractions. Seriously, thank you. This audio saves my life on the regular!
All my life I've been very 'fast', I leave everything in half, I do 10 things at once, I say what I don't think about the people I care about, so after ten seconds, when I understand what I said, I apologize for doing it .. Besides all that, I have a big problem with focus and concentration, I generally don't have a place on the chair. I am currently preparing for exams and 'digging' on CZcams looking for music that will help me calm down and focus on learning and it was very unsuccessful, but when I heard this, oh my God !!!! Polyrhythmic Music for Focus and Studying - it really helped me calm down, focus and learn :O
Is it possible that I may have ADHD without officially knowing it because I have never checked?
Sounds very much like me, I was diagnosed with ADHD at 47, never suspected I had it, but now... my life has changed so much for the better. Other signs in girls/women that are usually missed because we are not always physically "hyperactive" and are often highly intelligent and able to mask: being very sensitive to rejection/perceived rejection, low self esteem, emotional dysregulation, perfectionism (even if the person isnt aware of it), overly people-pleasing. It is often misdiagnosed as anxiety and/or depression, since it is difficult to live our lives with ADHD and hold all that inside, thinking we are just lazy and flawed and stupid. I am combined ADHD with inattentive/impulsive and yeah that saying things before I think them through, that's a tough one!!
I dont know if i have ADHD or not but this really really works in comparison to some of the other ones. For me: it helped FOCUS, STUDY, WORK - NOT RELAXATION or SLEEP
My friend I felt it the same. Definelty search out this for a reason too.
I work from home and THIS is a gift from the heavens for me!

Wish I had this twenty five years ago. I got so much done today at my desk! It has been a huge struggle all my working career. Thank you.
I'm way behind in a few classes because I cant focus, and so now lack of focus gives me a huge amount of anxiety, which makes me nauseous, so then I'm siting there stewing and procrastinating and panicking, and I cant eat anything. This has helped me focus enough that I did math for the first time in months, and I understand what I'm learning. I haven't calmed down enough to eat yet, but I think that's from other stressors. Anyway, thank you so much for this, it just might help me save my grades.
This video didn’t stop me from procrastinating. But when I got to it, I managed to write a whole bunch with relative ease. It’s really enjoyable to groove to and keep your brain occupied. Would recommend
This helps me a lot when I feel imbalanced, like my emotions are too chaotic. It helps me become neutral and logical again. Thank you
the amount of times ive been at work. and struggling to focus and getting distracted or lost in my head is insane.

Slight Tool vibes. I love it
That’s what I thought, too.
I wish I had more music like this. It's perfect for me.
I also enjoy the sounds of war on loop for hours and sometimes can't sleep without he sounds of war, 15 months of combat in 2003 definitely pushed my mind to another level of adhd, sometimes I think so many different things at one time it feels like I accidentally turned to a frequency that has all data ( I call it the stream) and I can't even function until its over and I seem driven to find answers because I know there is more. Being trapped ina shitty illusion sucks. May Yahwey and Yeshua Bless your paths, only Faith has kept me pushing into this perfection of insanity.

Well done! That's my favorite ADHD superpower - procrastinating like hell, then frantically finishing everything in a fraction of the time. Sure, the manic panic may take years off of our lifespans, but nobody can deny it gets the job done 😁
This is even better than classical for concentration!
As a former Orchestra player, I totally agree🙃🙏🌳
This is good to listen to in the background of an on-line lecture on Open University. Even though my family have the TV on, this music blocks that out from my attention, so I can concentrate on what is being said. This is amazing! 🙏 Thank you!
This is a really great music. It really helps me focusing. Focusing or particular tasks, being focus all the time. This is also deeply relaxing. Great
Hello, old friend. I'm back for a new semester. Thanks for the music.
Don’t worry, this pain you’re feeling is temporary. Close your eyes and remember that tomorrow is a new day, a fresh start. Take deep breaths, you’re gonna be alright, I promise ❤
Thank you. Just what I needed to hear right now. I'm subbing in middle school.
Thank you. So stressed.
Like a charm. Turned this on around 11:30pm feeling very sleepy and about to give up on studying more tonight. Ended up reading an entire chapter from beginning to end and completing the homework for that chapter all while completely in the zone of this music til 1:30 am and I feel like my brain has been massaged for two hours and one chapter smarter than before. I appreciate it mucho.
I’ve tried so many “focus” music posts on CZcams. This is downright the best one! Can sit for hours reading & writing with it. The melody is repetitive when you stop and think about it but the experience doesn’t feel repetitive at all. 👏
At first I had the impression this wasn't working. My thoughts were "I don't know if I can get into this music, etc." I've tried other channels and I didn't have the experience they'd be advertising. After giving this a solid minute, I've never felt so calm and focused. It's like taking my stimulant without the stimulant. This is amazing, thank you!!!
This one is definitely a keeper. Blocked out all thoughts & distractions. Thanks a lot!
Very helpful for concentration, ty! Nursing school is no joke
Thank you for sharing this 🙏❤️🤗 Even if someone didn't have ADHD, it would still be very soothing and calming.
This is the only thing in the flipping world that helps me concentrate on school work!!! It's like magic! I'm literally trying to catch up on over a months worth of work (per class; 4 classes total) so I don't fail the same professors class 2x in a row... I've never been genuinely WILLING to do this much work in one sitting before in my life... THANK THE GODS😂
This kinda also serves as a reminder to carry on working when you get distracted. When i drift away and dont rea1ise it its 1ike the music te11s me to carry on working.
Love it. There's a hint (not a copy) of the Dr. Who theme. Music like this is good for my productivity because I start talking to myself about externals like trivial resentments, sometimes stuff from 10 years past. This occupies me enough peripherally that I can keep on a project.
It brings peace of mind, more peace, more focus.
I am studying for an exam. ADHD is a constant struggle, I am so glad I found this music. It really helped me to focus on my tasks.
same, friend, same 😵💫
Thank you! Much appreciated🙂
I listen to this sometimes as I head off to sleep.
The first time I used this video I slept while it was going on before working on my homework to restart my brain due to the constant brain fog I have regularly and then let it continue while I was working. It really sped up my time working on things.
I haven't been able to afford assesment whether or not I have ADD although I am almost certain I have it. Regardless, I struggle with concentration and organisation and this piece has helped me work. I can't say it is magic, I still aknowleadge it and my mind wonders, but I feel better. I have tried other similar sets here but this one proves to be the most calming and not distracting. Usually I start feeling anxious when i listen to such long tracks a long time. Or the music triggers emotional response and I am distracted again. With this one is better, so thank you.
I'm so distracted by outside noise, so I turned this on my laptop and on my phone, so it is on a 1 second round and it sounds so cool! Now onto my research paper!!
Or you can open the same video in two browser tabs and start in different places : )
This is the first focus/study soundtrack I've listened to (and I've tried lots), that helps block convos from neighbouring work cubicles and keeps me focused on tasks. Calming with enough variety that I'm not immediately picking up the tune (which is why I can't listen to the radio - music squirrel if you get my meaning). Thanks Greenred!
It's like a massage for your brain.
I have this on for hours at a time and don't get bored of it, it just helps me stay calm while studying
Really enjoying the subtle rhythms of this soundscape.
I listen to this when I edit my photography. It helps immensely.
I don’t have ADHD, just found this channel while looking for study:focus music. This is one ofthe best ambient background music tracs. It really helps me focus. I have tested it on my kid too, and she loves it. It helps her to balance after a busy day at school.

This made me physically jump when it started. This sound is so intriguing and also reminds me why I love complicated music with a lot of cool effects. It's great for the mind.
This music has made me so focused that now I notice that the illustration seems to be sideways. And now I can't unsee it.
