This game looks like a combination of both Curse of the dead gods and Fury Unleashed and I`m super interested.

That Cthulu is so hot right now. 20 Minutes Till Dawn also just released in early access and also involves shooting pixel art Lovecraftian monsters.

Only thing that I noticed that might prevent me from playing this game as much as other roguelikes is the weapon feel. I mean, they look punchy and high impact, but the gameplay variety of the guns just look same-y even with the upgrades. I'm hoping for a more varied weapon feel similar to how Dead Cells handles the weapons.

Fair observation. There is definitely a different feel between weapons and the upgrades can improve and alter them a fair bit. But it wouldn't hurt to have a greater variety of weapons for sure.

I think you are spot on when it comes to the color work in the scenes. That is really the main thing that is turning me off abut this game. Reminds me of a flash game. When I was young, I liked the game Aquaria but the sprite detail was so *off* compared to the background and everything else. Besides that, the game was AA quality all the way through.

It autosaves after every stage so if you have to dip out you can pick right back up where you left off.
