  • In this video I install a JBL BassPro 12” powered subwoofer. www.amazon.com/dp/B0854N47QN?... I got it on sale for $218 so watch for those sales. I also used this installation kit from Boss Audio for $18 www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00... and I went with this metal grill to keep the speaker safe ($16) www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07...
    Thanks for watching!

I have it in my challenger too. Sounds good. One important thing don't hook up to the battery. Use fuse tap and get power from rear fuse box that goes to 12V outlet in the front. So that it turns off with the ignition. Just a safety tip

But if you’re doing all that already, just get a real sub and amp, you’ll be much happier. Get the kicker rca one with the remote wire and you’ll be good. Take off too deck and all the trunk interior to get it installed nice and clean with no wires showing. Run your wires for your amp below the panel your sub will be sitting on where the factory wire already runs to the back where the seat is and put your amp right there at your backseat in the trunk so it’s not all showing and nobody can see the wires. Easy professional looking install in less than an hour. Hardest part is literally removing the panel bolt. But get you the oem tool for less than $15 and it’s a breeze

Really you just have to play with the knobs on the back of the amp as well as the equalizer inside the car. The boss thing (fuse holder) goes into the positive terminal on the battery. The thing that says ‘boss’ just contains the fuse. It just goes from positive on the speaker/amp to the positive on the battery with the fuse in the middle.

Dope video, love Mopar stuff. I found one used on the FMP to go in my Chrysler Pacifica minivan. Brought it to a local stereo shop, and they installed, ran the remote to the front and added a used speaker cover as my kids/Dogs would definitely destroy that speaker with all their junk. Don't get why it didn't come with a cover option? All in for $270 with installation and I'm definitely not mad at the extra base.
