1980 Finish of Oxford Cambridge Boat race

Oxford had led by 2 lengths at the bandstand, but after that their bowman was in trouble. Cambridge closed up relentlessly over the last mile.
This was shown by the BBC before the 1996 boat race in memory of John Snagge who was the BBC commentator on the boat race
