This was very helpful! Thank you so much! ❤ Hearing these words spoken by a native speaker is absolutely necessary to fully understand this beautiful language. ❤
A lot of good information and examples of use. Thank you. For other beginners - knowing that the answer to чому (why) is often answered with the similar тому що (because), helps me remember both of them. дякую!
I like all your Ukrainian language videos Olya. is it Olya? Did you make the videos for the seven cases of nouns? I don't see them yet? your a great teacher. I also like your humor. A pleasure to watch you and learn from you. Very intelligent and Pretty girl. Allan
bluesman354 yes, it is Olya and thank you very much for your comment, I truly appreciate it. And no, the videos on cases aren't ready yet due to my lack of time but I am hoping do film at least some of them this weekend!
Learned German myself and it's easier in Ukrainian - we at least have typical endings (unlike German) and that should make it a bit easier, while in German one can only guess 😊
This is the first verse. In English. " Sweet Olya You know that I love you. I want to be the stars above you. I want to be the moonlight kissing your face tonight. You're so far away across the Sea, I wonder if you think of me the way that I'm thinking of you tonight. I hope you don't mind that I used your name 😊. That's all so far.
Here it is in translation? " Солодка Olya, Я тебе кохаю. Я хочу бути зірки над вамі. Я хочу бути місячним світломцілуючи ваш обличчя согодні ввечері. Вона далеко через Море, як я сьогодні ввечері Думаю про ви." I play piano and guitar for my personal pleasure at home. When the song is finished I could send you a video recording of me playing and singing for you. Дллан
