    Thank you for the overview of Cases - As a native speaker of German and English for over 40 years I have found this and the following case lessons as a great refresher. During speaking the application of case comes naturally, without having to think about the cases. I am also enjoying your recent series: “Practice” Cases. Thank you again and keep up the great work.

    OH MY GOD THANK YOU I've been studying Ukrainian and living in Ukraine for YEARS, and this was something about the language I NEVER understood and now I'm realizing how bad at the language I have actually been and what mistakes I've made. Thank you, thank you! You have just put the last few years of my life in context! Now I know what I must work on! Very helpful explanation!!!!

    Thank you for the great information and explanation of the different cases. As a native English speaker I think this has been the most difficult part of learning Ukrainian. Дякую!

    Now I know why I was so confused when learning граматика in grade 7. I can’t believe my Ukrainian teachers were trying to teach me this at the only age of 13 years old.
    It would have been better if my Ukrainian teachers had a list of Ukrainian regular sentences. Then the student would have to grammatically re write the sentence correctly and give a reason why. Basically my teachers had a long list of adjectives and nouns together. They said to correct them to whatever case instructed to. I honestly learned nothing because I didn’t know the reason for using the proper ending.

    • @LetsLearnUkrainian
      @LetsLearnUkrainian  Před 4 lety

      Oh yeah, I understand how hard it might be for an English speaker to understand this entire ending change. To us, native speakers, it comes naturally but it was hard for me to figure out a way to explain this concept and not confuse the learners even more!

      Let's Learn Ukrainian I took Ukrainian in regular everyday school from Kindergarten to grade 12. Ukrainian grammar never came natural as some of my teachers told me while growing up “it will be just become automatic”, It never did LOL. Lots of studying and hard work was needed. After I graduated I sadly didn’t really use it again so these videos are a pleasant reminder.

      Можете и заменить, это, конечно, не совсем правильно грамматически, но в разговорной речи большинство так и делают

    To teach, you need to repeat it at least 3 times.
    You covered a lot of material but you went too fast for me to comprehend any of it.
    Thanks anyways.
