I have many fond memories of playing Legacy and hearing rex broadcasts from a distance (with the distance modifier/echo/delay effect). I would always think, "Damn man, if I was camping in the woods and heard that, I'd promptly shit myself and then get my car started."
When the juvenile Tyrannosaurus uses the better sounds base than the adult (I honestly liked the older Tyrannosaurus sounds better, these current ones should've stayed as Magnatyrannus calls)
These are awesome but there are scientists who say the roar of a t-rex would be so low you could mostly feel it's vibration rather than hear it... Which somehow is actually scarier than any of these...
With how T-Rex probably functioned in its ecosystem, they could have had it be the only Apex on the island. It’s believed that the different life stages for the Rex actually filled different niches which is why you don’t see any medium sized predators aside from maybe Dakotaraptor which was pretty rare to begin with. I’ll bring up Nanotyrannus just to say it is commonly believed to be a Rex
Love the Rex broadcast. Such a unique and cool roar that I am glad it wasn’t stuck to the Magna which we will get 5 years from now.
