    Awesome my friend. I use portable solar charger's and solar banks. And now my hometown is gonna let me use a 5 acres of land that they keep mowed it has no trees and baseball fields on one side and a big warehouse on the other side with perfect land in-between both. I am going to make a dirt runway it will take some work but be worth it. I really love the T-28 Trojan it's the airplane I learned to fly on. It was the eachine mini t28 loved it so much I still have a new one to fly. Nice flight every time I 👀 see you fly it you seem to love it too. I will be using my solar charger's in the field but only 2s and 1s for now. Have a wonderful day my friend. PEACE

      Thanks! I also thought about getting some sort of portable solar charging but I usually don't spend more than 1h at a time out flying, not sure that would be enough to charge something.
      That's cool with the field, I thought about renting out some land from a farmer to build a runway but I think I would need to have more people help maintain it.
      Did that with an RC track a few years ago but people lost interest unfortunately.

    Glad your electrical issues were resolved. More savings = more airplanes. It’s a win/win! 👍🏻🙂

    Love it great flying in such a small area. I fly mine just in 3s. I set my time for 5, but I have gone over 11 minds. I love this plane great video thank you.

    Alex great flying, this T28 will fly nice and slow so you can touch the rear wheels first for buttery landings. Just have to keep practicing. Jeff in LA USA

    That's pretty cool. I can't wait to own a home and be able to do the same. Awesome plane! Another one on my wishlist!! I started out with a nitro RC back in 2007. It was a blast but I do not miss all the issues associated with nitro. I only miss the sound!

      @A.M.-RC  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Yeah, nitro sounds cool and I always thought I'd get a nitro car. Then when the time came I did some research and electric seemed to have way more advantages.

    Good flight with a great plane, Alex. In fact, that was a perfect first take off! Nice and straight. Completely with you on the solar panels/ev thing. We hope to go for off grid capacity in the future, too. Solar flying is cool...

      Thank you Gina! I think anyone that flies electric can see the advantages. Now to wait for batteries that way a couple of grams per 1000mah and cost next to nothing, that will be a revolution in RC 😄

    I also have this aircraft Alex, she flys so stable but is hard to get a non bouncy landing, i use a 4s 2200 all the way forward and it gives the perfect CG...jeff.

      I also use a 2200 4s, as far as I can get it, it's a tight squeeze. Funny thing is on my maiden about 2 years ago I remember I buttered the landing, first and only time I think 😂

    Great little aircraft. Well done Alex.
    I sold mine to make more room for new planes. Solar is huge here . With govt rebates around $3500 with 18 panels. Trouble is it used to be a rebate of 63c per kw now lucky to get 6c. It would pay unit off around 10 years. Are you going to eventually go off the grid with Batteries?

    • @A.M.-RC
      @A.M.-RC  Před 3 měsíci

      Thanks! I heard this year they will offer rebates for batteries also, that would be nice and I'll go for it if possible. I think I'm not allowed to go off grid since the government paid for about 80% of it, I have to sell back what I'm not using.

      I know, I thought RC would be a cheaper hobby, started with cars and it got expensive quick when I found Arrma, etc.
      Then I thought planes would be cheaper, but that got expensive quick as well 😂

    Solar charged batteries very cool. EV cars take way too long to charge up, The air motor is going to change the market and the need to upgrade all the worlds grids. No emissions and no oxygen burned is the best selling point. Electric vehicles require large lithium battery's and produce massive amounts of heat. Plus there is not enough places to charge up at on the road. The sub 350 mile average range per charge is also a major factor and the 8 to 24 hour recharge time is also a bad situation. Subsidy or not it is not worth 5k for the hassles to me. Good video even with the bounce.

    • @A.M.-RC
      @A.M.-RC  Před 3 měsíci

      Thanks Tug! I rarely drive long distances so range wouldn't be a big concern for me. Time will tell what the future holds. I just want a bigger car so I can take more planes with me 😂

      I keep hearing about sodium batteries, so basically storing energy in salt. I'm sure they will come up with different solutions to store and transfer energy efficiently.
