How I think Bang is going to interpret the training when King messes up on the most basic stuff: "I see. He's always been so powerful that he's never had to learn proper techniques. He's hit the wall on what raw power can do with the likes of Saitama. So he is humbling himself learn from someone much weaker to overcome his limits."

I’ll be honest, the chapters focusing on the characters besides Saitama are extremely fun. One of the best things about OPM are all the different side characters and the world building. I’m glad to see Metal Bat and Garou in the story again.

Garou appearing and making a comeback is such a heartwarming scene. In the webcomic, he had a part-time job but it felt like he was giving up on life. But now Garou seems wayyyy more lively in the manga where he has actual bonds and his character development feels more worked on!! Good for him.

Im unsure on whether theyre going to recreate garou vs siuryu from the webcomic. I think siuryu has already gone through a character arc and he wouldnt be a dick to garou, and garous personality is a lot different so it might not land that well.
The reason why bang failed to hear him because King will continue to be Lucky, Bang will refuse to make King Stronger because He is still convince that King is Stronger than Him.
Props to King for coming clean and actually training himself to get stronger.

I’ve only seen the anime and from everything I’ve seen, king is my favourite side character. I love how when he does anything people think it’s his overwhelming power(like when he attempted to cut an apple in half but couldn’t unsheathe the katana for a few minutes) whilst he’s just like I’m so going to get caught for this but never does

The chapter is nice overall except for King. Hopefully his character won't change because the entire series is way fun that way. His "power of luck" and "imposing blind obedience" is still more powerful than any other characters except Saitama. Changing him would be a bad idea in my opinion.

His personality or "powers" (which he doesnt have) wont change. Its just an opportunity for king to grow and improve himself. I think its similar to Mob joining the self improvement club.
King training from the ground up would be really cool to see, and he obviously isnt going to be on any other characters level but he might gain confidence and pride in himself.
@@Oscar-ek2jx it's interesting to see King learns real fighting and I myself would like to see it. The problem with it is his character's wisdom and his entire persona might change. Think of what would happen to his King engine once he is already confident with his fighting abilities? There's a huge chance it will change or worse, vanish because he is now confident. The only reason he has that is he is aware that he isn't strong or he doesn't know how to fight. I used to fear spiders when I was a kid. Now I have a tarantula and a black widow for a pet. The same thing may happen to King. This is just my opinion ✌️😊
@@JetManmusic is that a bad thing? Maybe he learns to control his heart rate or he or something, but im always up for characters changing when we've already gotten plenty of their base character.
Also something to add is that while the king engine is funny in reality its probably really painful and unenjoyable for king. I used to have really bad anxiety and the king engine isnt far off what its like. So id be happy for king if he got over his fear.

If he gets exposed, it's not just him who will be affected but the entire world of OPM. Imagine if he gets the same hatred that Saitama received in the episode where he blew the meteor, how do you think King will handle such pressure? Garou is with Bang and if he finds out about King, how would he handle it? How about Charanko and Sour Face? It's not just King, it's the entire world of OPM. That's the only reason I don't like where his character is being led to go. I hope I'm not overreacting. Anyway, it's nice chatting with u 😊

I think you misinterpreted the bang and king scene a little. He technically didn't reveal anything to bang because bang didn't hear him. So to Bang its like the insanely powerful king wants even more power.

I see OPM Saitama as the one punch line. Story telling is generated through the interactions of heroes and villains. The story reaches a crisis, King shows up and does his luck magic twist. Then Saitama shows up, punches, the end. Rinse and repeat.

It's just because he didn't have a whole panel of his own. But on the cover of the chapter you can see that it is the same as before, only the cut has changed. He will appear again in a fight against neo and you you will see that it remains the same as before, only the cut has changed
