Oh damn those tealights..I would have never thought that's how you were lighting the houses. I was thinking it might be a bit dangerous and/or creepy going inside. Well done!
Brilliant advice thanks for the video, can't wait to have a go myself.

Cool idea. I tried a 25 second exposure in manual mode with 100 iso and f8(sharpest for my lense) and painted with my phone flashlight tonight in my living room. Really cool!
That is awesome!

Hi Chris, I just stumbled across your channel today. I live in Ontario farm country and so I was happy to find this. Over the next few weeks I will watch your videos and start making plans to try out some light painting. I love the Tee candle trick there is an old pick truck in my neighbours back yard I will get out there and try it soon, hopefully with snow and a somewhat clear night. Thanks.

Your work is amazing!
Thank you so much!
Great video‼︎ Thanks for sharing‼︎
Been admiring your work for a long time now. I live in Sask and spend most of my time on the highway here. I've always wondered how you lit the insides of the houses, and sometimes thought about electric tealights, but I really didn't think they would give enough light! Anyway, this summer, I'm going to go down hwy 13, there is so much potential down that road. Also between Radville and Hwy 6. I absolutely love your work, and hope to make one of your classes soon. Thank you for this video! Have an amazing day!
Thank you!!!! I hope you have a great trip, highway 13 and 18 are full of great places to shoot!
Wow I got to try this, great video
Thank you!
Wow!!! Just discovered your channel! I am familiar with light painting, only in the outline sort of way; you know like the neon lights. This makes me want to break out my real cameras again( which I pretty much abandoned when I got a cell phone)Thank YOU!
Thanks for watching!
Excellent tutorial, thank you!

This is so fucking cool im shocked it doesnt have more views
Thank you!
Lol! This great!!
Thank you!
Curious about the settings ? Why not use a lowwer ISO with longer exposure? Or, use aperture priority and let the camera do the rest? New subscriber, Great videos!
Hello. I live in Clearwater Florida. Can yiu give suggestions on what I can paint besides abandoned buildings? I live near beaches. Thanks.
Trees, trucks, boats, pretty much anything that doesn't have street lamps above it.
After setting the camera and starting the 30 seconds LE , when should i start painting with light and how many times during the 30 seconds ... Thanks
Anytime and as many times as needed to make it bright enough in the exposure.
I don't understand the need for high ISO and fast aperture. Why not use a slower shutter speed and set ISO lower to eliminate noise and a narrower aperture for increased depth of field?
Im new to this …. Feeling overwhelmed … 😬
It's fun!
You should have gone into that abandon house and stayed in it!
Not when I am alone :)
He can’t. He’ll disturb the person who’s been tied up for the last 25 yrs in the cellar.
