Sareena should've been main roster imo, considering all the other PS2 characters that made it

Yeah, most Shao’s I’ve come across can’t deal with zoning too well. I usually win with Shang, not that I’m playing anywhere near your level or anything
Shao really struggles against zoners, particularly against Kitana

You gotta try Shao with Darius.
Forget all the neutral footsies crap, Shao is best played as a mix character. I will say that until the end of time and nobody can tell me different.
I main Shao and I think the only thing he really needs is a back dash.
Yeah it's hard to make people whiff with Shao
He needs a lot of buffs. NRS must give him a brutality for his command grab. This is a huge missed opportunity.
He definitely needs a brutal for cg but shao doesn't need buffs have you seen him with tremor 1200 health armored cg that leads to 45% in corner for 1 bar and 50/50 mix which is more like 35/35/35 with the cg he's insane ngl
@sethbuss6983 He can't compete with the Johnny Cages, The raidens, Ashra, Barakas for example. He needs to be on competitive level.

You can literally full punish Motaro’s summon. Idk what these people are doing. You’re doing the same stagger over and over with Motaro’s tail shot. I full combo people with stand 1 when they summon him.
he has one string that jails into the +13 shot and all the other ones are armorable or only can be interrupted with a 6f button i believe

I think he's great. I reckon if you want to have fun pick a character like shao. If you want to win, pick a character like Lui or Raiden, but that's the easy route 😊
shao is pretty easy to win with as well i’d say, but definitely looks fun to play

It's a very similar playstyle whether you use Shao + Lao or Shao + Motaro, but I honestly prefer Lao kameo for some reason
It’s between how spammy you want to be the fucking low for mix ups to be anointing as hell (motaro) and other additional tools just in case or how much you value nuetral control (lao)
But then again I can see motaro more of a stronger pick since his 3 turret fireball attack is pretty strong for pressure and zoning and plus he has plus frames now
